Staffordshire Osteopaths offer sports injury support for Lichfield 10k runners

Staffordshire osteopaths from Tamworth based Atlas Pain Relief Centre in Lower Gungate Tamworth have pledged support to Lichfield Running Club and runners in Lichfield. Staffordshire for their Lichfield 10k race and fun run in 2007

Following a successful event last year Tamworth Osteopath Aaron Caseley will lead a sports injury team from Atlas Pain Relief Centre and provide free sports injury treatments and sports massage to all event runners.

Tamworth Osteopath and Physiotherapist John Williams will not be attending this year as he is on holiday, however Sports Physiotherapist Peter Taylor who specialises in running injuries, lower limb biomechanics and fitting of custom orthotics will be attending and offering advice and sports injury treatment free of charge.


The Staffordshire Lichfield 10K race is a popular event attracting increasing support from running clubs and individual runners. Having high profile professional practitioners in attendance to provide injury cover for the event has proved very popular with the runners.

Free massage and advice is available before, during and after the event which is normally located in the sports hall on the day.
