UFOs in “Star Wars” type duel?

Whilst most of us probably accept that different life forms do exist on other planets in the universe, it is a fairly safe bet that we hardly ever imagine the possibility of meeting more than one alien at the same time. Even though many different alien races may be very active out there in the depth of space (perhaps even in our adopted galaxy the Milky Way?), we perhaps assume our humble existence has gone unnoticed and that we are waiting for our first contact.

However, a recent UFO report might support the theory that more advanced beings do exist, and our planet has some involvement in this mystery. According to a report submitted to HBCC UFO research “Kelowna, B.C. Two UFOs” a witness reported seeing two objects in the sky (one thin and long, and the other triangular or possibly cone shaped). After hovering for a while, a bang (like the sound of a gun) was heard and the long shaped craft began to “hurtle” towards the ground seemingly on fire and crashed into a lake. Soon afterwards the craft reappeared out of the water and headed towards another object in the sky, where a “Star Wars” type fight seemed to take place. Is there some military explanation for this sighting, or were two different aliens having a battle in our skies? Without more solid evidence we can only speculate, and ask questions on a “What if?” basis, but if this report is true, what would two alien races be fighting about? Could it be some territorial dispute, one alien race protecting us from a more hostile one, or simply a display of anger following an argument?

If aliens were fighting over our planet, what is it about our planet that they find so important? Should such advanced beings exist, we are obviously not seen as equals, although we may be some distant relative, and are protected because of this? It is perhaps more likely that we are some kind of experiment, which would also require some form of protection, but there could be a million other reasons just as valid. In short, we have no idea.

Humans are a very violent and destructive race and it is difficult to understand why any “advanced” beings would take the trouble to protect us, or simply stand by and watch us do the things we do. But of course we are not the only life forms on this planet, so maybe this is a factor?

Some of the recent UFO reports have been very different to those usually reported and maybe we will shortly be given the answers we have waited so long for. In the meantime, we must continue guessing.
