Baseball collectors trying to grab an official All Star game program will have their choice of covers this year.

Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) will, for the first time, make available a limited edition All-Star Game Program that features team-specific covers. This year, in addition to the 2007 All-Star Game Program covers that highlight the host Club San Francisco Giants, MLB Publishing will customize front covers showcasing a star from each of the 30 Major League Clubs. The 2007 Official All-Star Game Program Limited Player Edition books are available for purchase through Team Shops, MLB.com and Modell's Sporting Goods.

"The 2007 Official All-Star Game Program Limited Player Edition books afford fans the opportunity to celebrate their favorite teams and those players who are participating in the Midsummer Classic," said Howard Smith, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Major League Baseball. "The All-Star Game Program represents the aura of the event long after the final out is recorded and these limited editions will evoke special memories about the teams and players involved."

Every Official All-Star Game Program has more than 250 pages of exclusive photos and original editorial content, including an extensive section on San Francisco baseball, a section highlighting the history of the State Farm Home Run Derby and a feature on the best base runners in baseball. Contributing writers include George Will (nationally syndicated columnist), Joe Posnanski (Kansas City Star columnist)and National Baseball Writers Jayson Stark (ESPN.com), Jerry Crasnick (ESPN.com), and senior MLB columnist Ken Rosenthal (Foxsports.com).
