Florida Health Insurance Agency comments on agreement between insurance carrier and service provider

Florida health insurance provider Aetna (NYSE: AET) signs agreement with Baptist health.

Jacksonville Florida health insurance carrier Aetna lets residents know they will keep their in-patient and out-patient services at in-network rates, from Baptist's five Jacksonville-area hospitals: Baptist Medical Center Downtown; Baptist Medical Center Beaches; Baptist Medical Center Nassau; Baptist Medical Center South; and Wolfson Children's Hospital, along with the Baptist Primary Care network.

According to insurance consultant, Florida Health Insurance Web, the current agreement of the multi-year contract ensures continuation of the long-term relationship between Aetna and Bapitst.

Florida residents remained worried until today, says Florida Health Insurance Web, a Florida health insurance agency providing insurance benefits to individuals and groups in Jacksonville. "The current agreement was expeced to expire Saturday", but they were finally able to reach an agreement over the costs of health care services on each side of the transaction.

Aetna provides health insurance benefits to approximately 220,000 members in North Florida. Those members have access to a contracted network of 10 hospitals and more than 2,700 primary-care and specialist physicians. Residents on Jacksonville health insurance plans will no longer worry about this matter.

The main disagreement here, was over whether Aetna, or the Baptist Health Care group should fold on the fising costs of Florida health insurance. Supporter of this negotion, like Florida Health Insurance Web, say the "serious difference have been resovled and Aetna, along with Baptist should both be happy for a long time to come", rather than the falling out of an important relationship that would have had many residents without their current Doctor or Hosptial.
