Tom Delay appeared in a Houston Sheriff?s Office on State conspiracy and money laundering charges. He arrived, with his attorney, around 12:15 pm where he was photographed, fingerprinted, appeared before a judge, and bonded out for $10,000.

This is the latest chapter in the ?What Did He Really Do? case brought by Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle. He contends that Delay and his associates sent money to the National Committee that was to be sent to those running in Texas. It took t Grand Juries to bring the charges.

Delay believes this is just politics and that Earle is how to get him even if the law does not support the charges. Due to these charges Delay had to step down as Majority Leader of the House.

DeLay has denied wrongdoing and accused Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle ? a Democrat ? of having partisan motives. Earle has denied the accusation. Earle did not ask for the arrest warrant for DeLay but approved the court's request, his office said Wednesday.
