Will Paris Hilton's Prosecutor Go to Jail?

There are times to wonder about the ironies of life, and the turn around for City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo is such a time. Three weeks ago, he was just a media hogger looking for some limelight. Now, he and his wife have pretty much been shown to be nothing more than criminals.

How did Paris Hilton get involved? Well, when Rocky decided to have a "I have a dream" moment. He boldly declared that we could not have a two-tier system. The problem is that Rocky and his wife seem to be on their own tier. The L A Times decided to do some digging to see if the City Attorney was as squeaky clean as he was projecting. Turns out that he and his wife have not met a crime they did not engage in. OK, murder might not be on the list, but then again, his wife may be guilty of killing his political future.

Michelle Delgadillo claims that she is "unorganized" and a "bad driver." That is obvious from the five tickets that she failed to pay, the nine year old warrant, failing to have a business license or pay taxes, etc. It would be easier to write what crimes she did not commit, but none come to mind at the moment.

You could say it was the wife, but the City Attorney is clean. Nope. His office is the one that is supposed to prosecute businesses that are not registered or paying taxes. HE was the one who took three years to admit his wife was driving the vehicle that was crashed. He was the one who was fined over $10,000 for campaign money issues.

The thing is that the two only fess up after they are caught. They pay up AFTER they are caught. This shows a disrepect for the very law that he is supposed to prosecute others for violating.

Maybe if he stopped trying to be the celebrity prosecutor he could have handled his business.

The thing is that Paris Hilton is coming out of this looking pretty good, while he may lose his job and possibly face criminal charges.

Maybe he should have hired a secretary for his wife and a chauffer, since it is clear that she cannot drive. Heck, he should be arrested for allowing his kids to be in a car driven by a women with a suspended license, multiple accidents, and wanted by the law.

The more I write, the more that I see that Rocky is a jerk. All his statements this week have cast the full and complete blame of everything on his wife. Was his wife the one who violated the campaign financing laws? Was his wife the one that was elected to office? He needs to stop being a dope and admit that he opened his mouth and gotten whipped by his own words.
