Paris Hilton Prosecutor Covers Up Wive's Crimes

Del Williams
For nine years the wife of City Attorney, Rocky Delgadillo, has had an arrest warrant out on her for failing to appear to answer to charges of driving on a suspended license, without insurance and in an unregistered vehicle. It was issued under her maiden name.

Mrs. Delgadillo she appeared in court to plead no contest to a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license, and the warrant was canceled. She was sentenced to 12 months on probation and fined $431.

The problem is that Mrs. Delgadillo cannot seem to keep out of trouble driving. Only two days earlier the City Attorney had to acknowledge that his wife was driving his vehicle when she was in an accident. He let the City pay for it. Then his wife had multiple parking tickets that went years without being paid, without repercussion.

The City Attorney himself admitted that he drove his car for a year without insurance.

It would seem that since the City Attorney wants to throw the book at Paris Hilton and to make an example out of her, that he should start in his own home with himself.

Delgadillo was outraged with the Sheriff moved Paris Hilton to house arrest. So outraged he said the following:

If law enforcement officials are to enjoy the respect of those we are charged with protecting, we cannot tolerate a two-tiered jail system where the rich and powerful receive special treatment. We must ensure that in our city, in our nation, and under our Constitution, justice remains blind.”

For someone who had an arrest warrant out for nine years on his own wife, it would seem Delgadillo is blind when it comes to keeping the law. He has shown a bias against Hilton that is beyond reasonable, but funny, he did not have his wife arrested, like a common person. He did not have her booked like a common person, nor did he have her have to submit bail or be held without bail.

Instead, his position was at the bottom of Mrs. Delgadillo just walking into court and right out with little punishment.

In case you think I am biased, Mrs. Delgadillo has done the following:

2004

Hit and run accident with family car

Driving on a Suspended License at the time of an accident in government vehicle that was paid by taxpayer expense.

The City Attorney did reimburse the City after he confessed that his wife had been driving on a suspended license.

2005

She was ticketed in September 2005 for failing to obey a turn-only sign and paid a $186 fine, but was not cited for having a suspended license.

The revelation of the warrant came out on June 20, 2007 and was closed the same day as the acknowledgement. The City Attorney says, he did not know about the warrant. It should also be noted that Delgadillo refused to name the driver of the vehicle until two days ago. He has been trying to say the case of his wife and Paris Hilton are different because Hilton’s original charge was a DUI. He says his wife did not know her license was suspended until 2006. Mrs. Delgadillo drove government property and her own car for a full two years on a suspended license. Somehow, with all her parking tickets no one put the suspension on any ticket she was given.
