di apprendimento {Never Cease Learning}

Olorunda Samuel
Have you learnt all there is in your chosen career/field? LEARNING STOPS WHEN BREATHING STOPS. You must continue to learn one thing or the other – related to your career/hobby. Education is the bedrock of all tangible development and invention. Learning activates your subconscious mind and makes you more efficient and productive. It doesn’t mean you must learn all the junks of this world.

Hundreds of the richest men rocked our world developed interest in so many things while growing up but became an expert in one field. Once you are ready to learn, it means you are set to accumulate wealth through different source. Learning must involve every area of your life, don’t be afraid of failure but analyze it constructively. Age is never a barrier to specialized knowledge.

You invested all your life savings into a business and over the years nothing is flowing through the tunnel, don’t give up. Don’t conclude you dare not venture into business anymore. Mistake are professional tutors, be patient enough to discover its gold. Quitters and losers are best companion this world has ever known but winners wears the eagle’s badge.

Remember to always scrutinize your failures; the cause, pitfalls, wrong decision or wrong associates that birth it. Pinpoint the failure, learn from it and start again.

It is believed that over 80% of people will not try new things and new ideas because they 100 reasons it will not work. Are you one of them? Stereotype category? You got to change to achieve a landmark success. Learn new skills, language, read books on self development, trade, business or enterprise.

Who knows, that new skill might be the springboard to your much awaited prosperity. Be different, cultivate good personal and development attitude towards life. Determine to read at least one self-development book every week. List your limitation, weaknesses and skills you are poor, or you feel you aren’t doing well. Then ask yourself, “Who can help me with this skill/subject?”. Humble yourself and approach the right person and help will be at your beck and call.

One inherent thing about human being is that, if an ignorant is ready to learn, hundreds of wise will be ready to show him the way. Information is the bridge to your elevation, it will move you from mediocrity to wealth. Know-how will make you stand-out among your contemporaries.

What is your profession or career? Ask yourself every morning that “How can I do a better job today? Where do I need improvement ? What new skills will increase my effectiveness today? What will make me sell more? These above questions will do you a whole lot of good, if you can practice it daily before leaving home.

Repeat this three times, “If I will make it in life, it is up to me”. Then do something right away, perhaps you are on the path of success that is why you are reading this now, but put more effort to develop yourself, so the whole world could beat the path to your door.

Look at your society, you will discover one truth, that readers are leaders. No matter how a leader is hidden, he will be discovered and promoted. Read today and lead tomorrow. It is your choice.

Dr. Carson was a failure while in the elementary class but his mother would always encourage him, “Ben, you can do what they did, only you can do it better”. He cultivated the habit of reading two books he picks up from the library every week as a teenager. He rose to the top of the class and developed a passion in how the brain works. Today, he operated the popular Siamese twins {separated babies} who are hail and hearty today. He is one of the best neurosurgeon this world has known.

Look at your friends, do they have time for learning, reading self help books? What about their dreams/passion/focus and long term goals? Your worth/value is measured by the friends you keep – ‘your friend will make or break you’. Take concrete decision and be resolute. Life is too short to be experimented. Education is a propeller.

King Solomon – one of the richest men who lived, never cease to learn wisdom. He said, “When wisdom enterreth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee”. Prov. 2:10-11.

Practise these skills to develop yourself and achieve maximum success.
