Sea levels could rise 20 feet in next 20 years!

Ian Brockwell
An article in the National Geographic is just one of many that have been presenting much the same message recently “the world is losing its ice faster than anyone thought possible.”

It’s interesting that our climate appears to be following a similar pattern to that seen prior to our last ice age (130,000 years ago). But before the people (who always believed the planet would sort out this problem itself) go out and celebrate, they may want to hear the rest of the news.

Very few people (including me) have ever doubted that the planet would return to a cooler period in the future (it has always been this way), so the problem is not if, but when?

The records for the warm period before the last ice age are impossible to confirm with any great accuracy, but there are indications that this may have lasted 15,000 years! During this time it would seem that “much of the water now in Greenland’s ice was sloshing in the oceans”

Sea levels are believed to have been 15-20 feet higher than they are now and the changes seem to have taken place over a relatively short period of time.

Many will recall (just a few years ago) how scientists predicted that our ice would take centuries to melt. This forecast has been adjusted many times, and now many are prepared to accept that this could happen in the next 50 years (or sooner).

For those who have read the book “Global Warming – The Final Solution”, you will find that sea levels had already risen by 21 feet in the year 2027.

Although the book was written as a novel, much of the information was based on facts. It is my strong belief that the events in the book (at least in the first half) may well become so close to reality, that in 20 years from now it could seem more like a history book!

I doubt very much that I will be around to see this confirmed, which is probably a blessing if things turn out the way predicted in the book, but many of you will be.

Earth will survive this terrible event, as it always does, but millions of people will not. In the long term, it may be just what our planet needs? However, for those who will be here in another 20-30 years time, don’t wait too long to pressure your governments into creating a plan for this, it could save your life. If you want some idea of how life will be when sea levels are 20 feet higher, read the book!
