Why Are They So Afraid?

Why are our politicians so afraid? With the exception of Republican candidate Ron Paul and Democratic candidate Dennis Kucinich, few have stepped out of the company line, have made waves or bucked the tide and I wonder why. Our 28th president Woodrow Wilson once said, “Since I have entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture are afraid of something. They know there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”
So are our leaders simply afraid of more powerful men above them? This long arm of fear is so pervasive that it reaches all levels of government, up to and including the highest offices. And I want to know if the fear is of men or is it something different? There are a lot of theories out there about the unseen force that controls what happens on this planet, from aliens to the Illuminati to the devil himself, the words puppet and marionette are often thrown around describing our seemingly inept government.
Some say our government is ruled by a small group of men called the Illuminati. The Illuminati is a secret society said to mean the “illuminated ones” and these men are behind the plans to bring about a New World Order, motivated by the desire for global domination. And one of the plans to achieve this goal is blending the United States of America with Mexico and Canada to create the North American Union. It is said that there are plans to create a monster highway from Mexico to Canada and that is the reason the elusive fence along the border will never be built. Many believe nothing in this country and abroad happens without the approval of the Illuminati, including presidential assassinations. So is this small group of men the reason our leaders seem so terrified to step out of the box?
Others say our rulers struck up a deal with bad aliens back in the 1940s and these otherworldly beings are now in control. The deal began with the exchange of advanced technology for human beings to be used for experimentation, but somewhere along the lines one side or the other began taking advantage and now all bets are off. Others say the bad aliens have been here for eons and live in cities underground all over the world. Some even surmise that all wars carried out on this planet are actually a cover for wars going on in the heavens or underground. So is it the aliens that have our leaders so intimidated?
Others state that we are at the ends times, whatever that means to them, be it biblical or new age or Mayan; that events are occurring that have been spoken about for hundreds or thousands of years. Many believe there is a dark force working on this planet to bring about the demise of millions, while sending the rest into some type of slavery. Some call this the Reptilian agenda, others the anti-Christ, many think this is the Illuminati’s goal of a utopian society and still others believe it is the bad aliens. Do our leaders know of a timetable that they have yet to share with us? Is the Anti-Christ lurking around, hypnotizing, deceiving and pulling strings? Is a asteroid hurtling through space about to knock us back to the stone-age?
Whatever is happening, we seem to be speeding along to an agenda that most of us did not approve. When I listen to and read the words of most of our candidates I mostly perceive double speak, the same agenda, disguised with different words, uttered by different people, but always the same. With very few exceptions, it seems most are attempting to fit into the one, approved, box and it seems that each is in fear that their cover might be blown. As though to take the next step up in politics means they must all tow the same rope. And why? As much as the people of this nation are craving change, why are they all so afraid? What do they know that we don’t?
