Osama Bin Laden and Your Cell Phone

As America works toward its Big Push, inserting thousands of US soldiers into Iraq, the death toll rises steadily. IED's, insurgents, and Jihaddists multiply by the hundreds if not the thousands. Turning a blind eye to the reality that the entire war was based on fabrication and compromised intelligence, already confessed to by the former Director of Central Intelligence, the American public stands by stolidly watching the funeral procession of international goodwill.
As a compromised America hems and haws about bringing Democracy to Iraq, the true perpetrators of 9/11 roam untouched, the ghost of Osama Bin Laden has been replaced by the dead bodies of America's boys and girls. In fact, nobody talks about Osama Bin Laden anymore. He was everything and now he is nothing, last years prom queen at best. Well, it is ironic that the US government financed and supplied Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda to fight the Russians in Afghanistan and now they are financing and supplying the Iraqi military in hopes of bringing order to Baghdad and Iraq.
The news flash for America is that no matter how well they stand up the Iraqi army, no matter how well they train the Iraqi troops, no matter how much the US politicians talk about a liberated Iraq; none of those soldiers that has been trained by America will support America in the end.
If nothing else, all the Iraqi soldiers have seen their homeland devastated by US bullets and bombs. More than likely they have seen family, homes and neighborhoods destroyed by the US occupation. There is no love lost for America in Iraq. The concept of roses and being greeted as liberators by the Iraqi people is as likely as “Mission Accomplished” from W on a naval vessal when he was AWOL from the National Guard.
The American public has reached a point where we don't even care about the truth. Most importantly, we just want to hear something that sounds good. Tell us that we are liberating a country while we drop bombs on their children and kill hundreds of thousands of their civilians. Tell us that we are trying to liberate an Islamic state while we support the destruction and genocide of the Palestinian people. Please, just lie to US as record earnings for US oil companies and the corporate military industrial complex go through the roof. Lie to US about democracy as our news media is taken over by the neocon agenda.
The lies are great. The deception is grand. It is all designed to sneak up on you after it is to late. All good attack plans are. One day America, you are going to wake up, at that time there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. On that day it will be to late. America is becoming more concerned with what it has found than what it has lost in this hunt for terrorism. It is like interrogating someone for a lost cell phone while terrorists plant bombs in the World Trade Center.
