NCAA: Trojans Among Us This Saturday

Heading into what is going to a big clash on the gridiron weekend, one game really is standing out atop all the rest.
Tomorrow afternoon, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and USC Trojans carry a (5-0) record into one of the most hostile and rejuvenated places in college football South Bend to take on “The Next Show,” Brady Quinn and his Fighting Irish.
Offense
As much as I like Brady Quinn, you would be crazy to say that the edge is on the side of the Irish tomorrow. With that said, keep in mind that Quinn has the Offensive Line advantage, with the protection he is getting this season, Quinn has thrown for over 400 yards two times and over 300 yards each of the last three games.
Edge: USC
Defense
The key for both teams really is the same. NO BIG PLAYS! For USC, they have to put pressure on Brady Quinn as much as possible on every drive. While on the other side, Notre Dame needs to contain Leinart, Bush, and LenDale White.
Notre Dame is going to have to pack eight in the box as tight as possible because coming into this game, you know that USC is going to pound away and try to ware-down your defensive line.
Edge: Notre Dame
Special Teams
USC has had trouble this season getting down the field on Kickoffs with the state of mind,
11 To The Ball With A Bad Attitude,”! Notre Dame is a team that will return the ball on you if you don’t posses the aggression on your Kickoff Squad, and because USC doesn't have that aggression, I give the edge to the Irish on Special Teams.
Edge: Notre Dame
Predcition: Notre Dame over USC
