Hypnosis Can Dramatically Reduce Stress Our Soldiers and Their Families Face.
Severe stress is attacking our nation’s defenders and their families. According to Army Dr. (Lt. Col.) Elspeth Cameron Ritchie “our soldiers could be disturbed or demoralized by stressors from the consequences of combat, such as handling remains of civilians, enemy soldiers or U.S. and allied personnel.” (1)
Other events that may cause emotional harm to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan is having to deal with POWs, witnessing homes and villages destroyed by bombing or a number of other battlefield stressors.
In July of 2004, a groundbreaking study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that almost 2 of every 10 U.S. troops who have faced combat in Iraq are likely to return home with serious symptoms of depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder.
Disturbingly, the study also found out that less than 40 percent of affected vets ever sought help.
The point I making is that the list of problems our soldiers and their families face is shocking when you really look at what is going on.
Chronic irritability, memory loss, insomnia, nightmares, physical pain due to emotional reasons, combat flashbacks, child abuse, spousal abuse, inability to return to their civilian job or work to capacity, depression, anxiety, PTSD and suicide are just a few of the challenges many soldiers and loved ones face.
Now, because I am a former Army Specialist, I have a deep interest in helping our soldiers and their families.
And, I want our troops to know that there is a tremendous amount of solid medical documentation proving that hypnosis can help them drastically reduce stress. (Always check with your doctor before seeing a hypnotist.)
What is almost a secret is that as far back as 1958 (when the AMA approved of hypnosis) there was a Life Magazine article with graphic pictures showing hypnosis helping a person with severe burns. And the article also showed how hypnosis helps people with pain and cancer. The point is that hypnosis has been recognized for a long time as a powerful healing tool.
Without a doubt hypnosis can reduce much of the stress our soldiers and their families are facing. In order to do what I can to help, I am hosting free, no strings attached seminars to benefit our troops. And, I am giving away $30,000 worth of stress reduction CDs to the first 1000 attendees.
The general public, soldiers and their families are all invited to these free, no sales pitch seminars. For more information, please visit www.Create-Changes.com
To begin enjoying the benefits of self-hypnosis now, use the self-hypnosis script at the end of this article. I suggest you record it and listen to it a lot as it can help given enough time and repetition.
Also, if you want to find a hypnotist in your area, visit www.MBH4U.com and click on “Hypnosis Links”.
You can also contact the National Guild of Hypnotists as they are the world’s largest hypnosis organization with certified hypnotists all over America. Their website is www.ngh.NET.
Hypnosis has a long and proven history. It can absolutely help you to change your life for the better.

Simple Self-Hypnosis Steps
Get comfortable. Take a few belly breaths. Tell yourself you give yourself permission to go into a relaxing state of mind. Let your mind drift to a safe, calm place. Now, you are going to count backwards from 5 down to 1 and repeat in your mind the following:
5, I give myself permission to feel sensations of relaxation in my eyelid muscles now.
(Then close your eyes and open them to read next sentence.)
4, Somehow, I am becoming aware of relaxation in my eye lid muscles.
(Then close your eyes and open them to read next sentence.)
3, Somehow, the relaxation in my eyelid muscles is increasing and feels good.
(Then close your eyes and open them to read next sentence. Please notice any growing sensations of eyelid sleepiness.)
2, My eyelid muscles are almost as relaxed as they can be right now.
(Then close your eyes and open them and read next sentence. Please notice more growing sensations of eyelid sleepiness.)
1, My eyelid muscles are feeling as relaxed as they can be in about 30 seconds.
(Then close your eyes and open them noticing the relaxation and read next sentence.)
I now allow myself to enter a calm state of mind called hypnosis.
(Close eyes letting them relax completely and imagine the door to your subconscious opening only for good suggestions.)
Here are some excellent self-hypnosis suggestions:
(Only use one self-hypnosis suggestion per session.)
1) Somehow, in some way, I am getting better and better every day.
2) I am learning to make better choices that make me happier and healthier.
3) With every breath, I am going deeper into healing trance.
4) In some healthy way, I am releasing pain from the past.
5) I am releasing stress now.
