Apparently, I am the Enemy

Allan J. Ashinoff
After many years of paying personal taxes, paying employer’s taxes, honorably serving my nation, voting on principal and writing many articles in defense of freedom, I’ve been told by my President that I am the problem with America. I thought it was odd when the President called the Minutemen vigilantes but now it makes perfect sense. The President of the United States is a delusional traitorous fool hell bent on the ruination of my country.

Instead of fighting to win a war I fully support and instead of reducing government spending to prevent borrowing two billion dollars a day for our government to function, the President seeks to legitimize millions of criminals and legally entitle them to that which many already steal: our jobs, our welfare, and our social security.

It’s not enough that illegal aliens are buying homes without proper identification, taking jobs away from American citizens, destroying our healthcare system, weakening our children’s educational experience, massively increasing crime in border states, attacking American border patrol agents, diluting our culture, and marching unchallenged in American streets demanding rights they have no entitlement to. The American people, according to our President, must treat these criminals with “decency and respect.”

Mr. President where is the decency and respect I deserve for my lawful citizenship of this nation? Where is the gratitude for my honorable service to this country? Why do you not respect the will of the American people? Why has the voices of the American people been ignored in favor of your own private agenda?

"A lot of Americans are skeptical about immigration reform, primarily because they don't think the government can fix the problems," President Bush said at a training center for border enforcement agents in Georgia today.

Yes, this is true. We’ve seen the wondrous way our government has negotiated with North Korea and Iran, how social security has been reformed and efficiently run, how those school vouchers you campaigned on have reformed our educational intuitions, how incredibly effective FAEMA was in aiding the citizens of Louisiana, how government spending has shrunk under your administration, and let’s not forget the masterful conquest and control of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Forgive me if I’m skeptical Mr. Bush, but you and your cronies do not deserve what scant trust I once gave you. Maybe you’d have more credibility if you listened to the American people instead of foreign bankers. If you listened you’d know that Americans do not want these people in our country if they didn’t come here legally. Perhaps if you listened, decent lawful voting Americans, like me, would not be an inconvenience to those we elected to represent us.
