Game On:Tom Delay Indicted Again

Del Williams
It would appear that District Attorney Ronnie Earl has been busy covering his behind from the bad indictment from a week ago. He had used a law that was not on the books until 2003, but the "act" he used to bring the indictment occurred before then. Now he wants to continue with this witchhunt.

Anyone who has watched Law & Order knows that it does not take much to get an indictment, but is he for real? Apparently so.

The new charges of conspiracy to launder money and money laundering. What is funny is that in order for these to stick, Earl would have to be saying that Delay got the money from a BAD source, like the Mob. The money from that source had to be acquired in an illegal transaction, like drug money. Has Earl even come close to being able to prove that that? No.

Tom Day said "Ronnie Earl has stooped to a new low with his brand of prosecutorial abuse." One cannot help but wonder what Earl is thinking. Does he think that he has a political career after this? I hope he is not up for election anytime soon, but maybe the people of Texas should consider having a recall election.

The people of Texas should be ticked off that this man is using their tax dollars to bring bogus charges. That is not the American way. This is the way of control freaks, and people who want to destroy their enemies. Or, politics.
