Al Sharpton Implies Mitt Romney Doesn't Worship The True God
Most Americans consider Sharpton a pompous blowhard, but unfortunately the black community and the media genuflect before this transparent con artist.
I won't waste any time appealing to the African American community to stop legitimizing Sharpton. Blacks have a long history of supporting their own --even when they are clearly criminals: OJ is innocent; Michael Jackson isn't a child molester; Mike Tyson is just misunderstood...
Not all blacks gloss over the sins of prominent African Americans, but way too many have a laissez-faire attitude toward criminal and immoral behavior by members of their own race.
From the Associated Press:
"The Rev. Al Sharpton, who recently urged that radio host Don Imus be fired for making a racially insensitive remark, said in a debate that "those of us who believe in God" will defeat Republican Mitt Romney for the White House. But Sharpton denied he was questioning the Mormon's own belief in God.
Rather, the New York Democrat said he was contrasting himself with Christopher Hitchens, the atheist author he was debating at the time."
Al Sharpton is clearly implying that Mormons are cultists who don't worship the true God. If Sharpton had a shred of dignity he would immediately apologize. But I guess Sharpton believes that blacks can't be guilty of racial or religious bigotry.
Don Imus apologized a hundred times, but you won't hear the arrogant Sharpton apologize even once for his insensitive remark.
Sharpton went ballistic when Imus uttered his racist comments, but the clown from Harlem has only made token protests against the vile rappers who make Imus sound like Martin Luther King.
Sharpton has only spoken out against gangsta rap in general, but he hasn't targeted specific rappers. Why not Rev. Sharpton? Are you too much of a coward to go after a rapper like 50 Cent, because his posse might gun you down?
This latest example of Sharpton's bigotry and hypocrisy should be the last straw. I implore the mainstream media to join me in exposing this charlatan.
