Boycott All things Kardashian and Jenner

Kevin Cavanaugh
First, I have no problem with individuals spending whatever they want on their own weddings, so I am not opposed if the Kardashian wedding cost $17 - $20 million dollars.

What I am opposed to, however, is that the Kardashians got a lot of commercial financial support from E!Online and because of that, Kim went on with her wedding plans, even though she knew well before the wedding that the marriage would not work – i.e. that the marriage was doomed before it even took place.

From what I have read, they received approximately $17 million toward the wedding and that Kim´s ring was over 20 carats and valued at $2 million, and approximately $2 million more was spent on flowers, and her mother Kris Jenner Kardashian is rumored to have received a free costly facelift for the wedding.

Considering that E!Online sprang for the wedding from income from advertising dollars paid for by fans and everyone who purchased products from E!Online advertisers, I feel that the Kardashians should fess up and make a full disclosure regarding all sources of funds for the wedding, details of wedding expenses, and what happened to money that was not used for the wedding. I also believe that Kim should be honest with her fans and public and tell them if she decided to not cancel the wedding because of its´ financial relationship with E!Online.

During a television interview, Chris Jenner Kardashian, Kim´s mommy and manager, said that Kim did not make any money off of the wedding – a statement I cannot disprove even though I find hard to believe.

The bottom line is that once the KarCashians (emphasis on Cash) started planning the wedding, it was probably going to be medium in size, until E! decided to cover the bulk of its´ expenses in trade for two night coverage of the "Royal" event on their channel. With that agreement in writing, the KarCashians made the wedding even larger and invited family and friends – more than they originally were going to invite.

By the time the wedding plans were finalized and all associated wedding contracts were drafted and signed, Kim realized she knew the potential marriage was in serious trouble – but by then the Kardashians were committed to the televised wedding on E! and they also were locked into E! paying for the bulk of the wedding and for Kim to cancel the wedding and back out it would have cost them a fortune – so Kim and the entire clan decided to go through with the wedding and fake a short term marriage that would surprisingly end after a short period of time. I believe Kim and her family hatched a plan to simply say that they encountered irreconcilable differences and decided to end the marriage. Oh, Kim, my heart goes out to your crocodile tears and your fat wallet.

I just read online where Kris Kardashian, Kim´s momgent, (mom and agent), does not know the actual price of Kim´s engagement ring. To that, I say, that has to be one big fib, to say the least. I would venture to say that almost 99 percent of mothers in America know what size and price ring is given to their daughters. Also, a ring that size is a conversation piece and I would venture to say all the Kardashian´s know the price of Kim´s whopper of a ring, down to the penny! They all probably know the five C´s of Kim´s ring – Clarity, Color, Carat, Cut, and details specified in the Certificate.

I have read all the etiquette articles that say if a marriage lasts less than six months, all wedding gifts should be returned with a note – unless the gifts were specially monogrammed with the couple´s initials.

Also etiquette dictates that the bride should be able to keep the ring because she did go through with the wedding.

Well, considering the ring cost $2 million dollars and the marriage itself was a sham – because it took place to save face and because of the investment E! made, she should be required to return the ring.

I believe Kim was caught in the middle - knowing she did not want to go through with the wedding but because of financial concerns she and her family thought it best to go through with the wedding, have it broadcast for the world to see and bless, and then to divorce where everyone might feel sad for Kim.

In all fairness, Kim is much worse than all the Runaway Brides because she caved because of the ever loving dollars – roughly $15 - $20 million of them. I even respect the lady who said she was kidnapped and taken across the country to Arizona and New Mexico in a van – at least she left everyone to avoid the wedding. True, this young lady lied to everyone but she did not go through with the wedding under dishonest circumstances.

Kim, in my opinion, is a spoiled brat and I believe all her sisters are the same.

Until Kim, and her family makes a full financial disclosure of all income and expenses dealing with the wedding, including the facelift, the flowers, the ring, and all other aspects of the wedding, everyone should make their own personal decision to boycott or not to boycott all things KarCashian, including the Jenner family as well.

I, for one, will not watch any show that any of the Kardashians or the Jenner´s are on. Anyone watching any show, even talk shows where the Kardashians or Jenner´s are on are just supporting the family´s greedy self-supporting lifestyle.

If they are not going to make a full disclosure, I would like the family to lose their fortune and revert to living in a small Brady Bunch lifestyle home where America does not have to see them faking it all the time on a variety of television shows.

I also would like to see E! make a full financial disclosure on one of their entertainment shows so everyone can find out the truth.

The bottom line is this: Even if it is remotely possible that Kim and/or her family did not profit from the wedding, how much would it have cost them if Kim called the wedding off when she realized the wedding would be a sham and the marriage was not going to last? Did E!Online have a financial prenup with Kim and what penalties were in it if Kim balked on wedding day? My guess is that E!Online is excellent with contracts and that is what made Kim fake it for 72 days. Shame on you Kim and shame on your momgent (mother and agent). I feel sad for Kris Humphries – he is the one who got really duped – besides E!Online and the public in general.
