RUSSIA WAS RIGHT,US HAS NO BUSINESS CRITICIZING OTHER NATIONS ON HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS

Recently, Russia slammed the United States for its own human rights violations, countering accusations the US made against it over Parliamentary elections in which observers reported widespread fraud, setting off demonstrations against Vladimir Putin's rule. Countering the US accusations, Russia cited the ongoing illegal detention compound at Guantanamo, Cuba, violations of civil rights of Muslims, wrongful executions in which the accused was later found innocent, some after they were put to death, spying on its own citizens, and a slew of other violations of human rights.

In the case of human rights violations, Russia is right, the US has no business going around scolding other countries about human rights when the US is itself ,is violating so many of them on a daily basis.

Since 9-11, the US has not only come close to appearing like some of the world's most notorious countries for human rights violations, but has surpassed most of them in this genre during recent years. The US has used the war on terror and keeping its citizens safe as the excuse for snuffing out just about all that resembled a free country since then.

Today, American citizens are subject to Gestapo like searches of their personal belongings, full pat downs involving groping of private areas, and full body scans where children are essentially viewed by TSA agents naked which is considered child porn anywhere else in our country.

American citizens now have their phone calls monitored, bank accounts scrutinized where the government views every transaction made, new accounts, and work history and in short, everything we do on a daily living basis. This is a result of the Patriot Act, which has allowed the government to spy on its own citizens.

Recently, the passage of s1867 (National Defense Authorization Act) essentially gives the government the right to use the military to detain citizens even suspected of engaging in terrorist acts for indefinite periods and yes, many will be shot for resisting, and those who have anti government opinions as well as those who may disagree with the actions of the TSA.

S1867 is a law which one would expect to see in a place like Russia but the fact is, it is a reality here in America.

Since 9-11, many may have noticed the fact that there are cameras at every street corner of their city. A further violation of individual privacy.

Since 9-11, the Federal government has used every excuse in the book to legitimize going to war in countries that had nothing to do with radical Islam or terrorist sponsorship. In the beginning, it was Al Qaeda who supposedly responsible for 9-11 but since then, the picture has expanded to include all radical terror groups as well as domestic terrorism, which essentially paints most crimes as terrorist acts. This was to further justify the Federal government's ability to degrade the freedoms and civil liberties of American citizens.

The US voting process has also become a sham. Now with the use of computerized voting machines the chances of fraud increases drastically with manipulation of the votes being an easy task.

The Presidential election between John Kerry and George W. Bush was a prime example of fraud. Usually, one can predict the outcome of the election by exit polls which indicate the percentage of votes for a particular candidate. In the Bush, Kerry Presidential election most exit polls showed John Kerry with a huge lead over Bush. This lead was by such a large margin, many news reporting agencies were quick to assume that John Kerry would more than likely win the election. However, when the actual numbers came in, the exact opposite happened, where Bush won by almost the same margin as the Kerry lead in the exit polls. In an environment free of vote manipulation, this would have been virtually impossible. However, in the Federal government's quest for complete control over its citizens, another Bush term was a necessity.

It is time American citizens' stand up to the Federal government in its tyrannical transition and bring the country back to a nation that observes the Constitution.

Americans need to demand s1867 be dissolved and the Patriot Act be either removed or drastically modified from its present form.

American citizens should not tolerate the humiliation and violations of civil liberties and personal freedoms by the TSA. If all else fails, a travel by air boycott needs to be implemented by all citizens. In this, we would see the TSA dissolve rapidly. It is a useless organization since it only scrutinizes American citizens. It is time we transform out domestic airports from resembling a military compound as it s now, to being simply a civilian travel port as it should be.

The US isn't really concerned with threats from terrorists as it wants us to believe it is and never has been, since the beginning. The very fact that our southern border with Mexico has remained as open and unsupervised as it ever was before 9-11 is a fabulous example of just how unconcerned the Federal government is and always has been with terrorist threats. If the Federal government really were as concerned as it wants us to believe it is, this border would have been sealed off within hours of the 9-11 attacks. Especially, since the chances of Islamic terrorists crossing the border from Mexico into the US disguised as Latin Americans is the easiest thing in the world to do. However, since watching this border closer has never been a consideration, it shows that the Federal government is only interested in controlling and manipulating American citizens and is not worried at all about any terrorist threat.

The American people have become the threat to the government itself. Since practically everything the Federal government has been doing, along with all its plans for future goes against the wants and needs of its citizens in almost every aspect? The need for control of the masses has become critical.

It has become a fight for survival between the US Federal government and its corrupt ways. At the heart of it all, is the fact that the American citizens who by the very Constitution, truly own the government itself.

We need to wake up and realize what's really going on here, and take back the reins of control from a corrupted Federal government with a sinister agenda.
