The Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP) has awarded The Local Buzz Third Place for “Best Color Ad – Half Page or Larger.” Buzz publisher, Jason Collins, would like to congratulate Rene Folsom, the publication’s graphic artist and web master, for her extraordinary dedication to the publication culminating in this prestigious award.
Rene has been with us since the beginning and has done an incredible job for us. She is an amazing talent and a tireless worker. We wouldn’t be where we are without her and this award truly belongs to her.”
Based in Idaho Springs, CO, the AFCP is an industry trade organization representing nearly 3,000 free community papers in the United States. A member of the AFCP for over a year, The Local Buzz is an Art & Entertainment monthly serving Florida’s Treasure Coast and North Palm Beach County. With a circulation of 34,000, the Port St. Lucie-based publication routinely features interviews with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
