STRATEGIES FOR IMPLEMENTING CHANGE
As leaders, you must be able to deal with any actions taken by individuals and groups when they perceive that a change is occurring as a threat to do them. The best approach to creating change is to work with them, helping them achieve goals that somehow also reach goals of the change project. You must be able to work with people, and they will be happier to work with you. You must be able to educate your people on the rationale of why you want to change. People are more susceptible to come around and be involved once they realize why the change is needed and what is needed of them. As leaders, you must be able to involve your people physically and intellectually. This is the best practice anyone can use in getting people to buy in on a change. In my opinion, the more profitable an organization is, the more creative it must be in creating the appropriate challenge for their employees. Leaders must hold the team accountable for achieving organizational goals. By getting back to the basics and learning to pull together, you can transform low-performing teams into highly effective tools for reaching your organizational goals.
