One Way Of Ridding Yourself Of A Single Insect Without Using Drastic Measures

Judy Ramsook
When some people in our midst were growing up, watching an adult flick away an insect that happened to land on his/her arm, face or other exposed part of the body became a sort of typical sight.

And if the insect that strayed its way onto that exposed part of some one's body happened to sting or bite the individual, the insect probably suffered a more dangerous fate, providing of course that it lingered around long enough to be dealt with. Enter the twenty first century way of dealing with that annoying insect.

Most sympathetic young people in our midst would rather capture that insect on the wall into the confines of a bottle, jar, glass, or which ever receptacle happens to be in close proximity at the time of the insect sighting. And capturing that insect does have its share of ups and downs.

At times it may seem like a little adventure, for some insects are more difficult to capture than others, especially the ones that fly or jump rather quickly much like a cricket or roach with wings or something of that nature, you get the idea.

If you are quick enough to capture the insect on the first attempt, good for you, but some persons whose reflexes are not as quick, may have to give it a few tries before that little task can be accomplished. Then comes the other part of the ridding oneself and his/her home of the insect.

With the insect within the jar, and the opening of the receptacle covered with a piece of paper or whatever you can find that works as a make shift lid so the insect remains intact, head outside into the open air and release the insect into a type of environment it’s accustomed to.

Your insect correct self and your conscience will thank you for it as you let out a sigh of relief. For although that annoying insect is no longer in your home, you did not have to resort to other measures such as reaching for the insect repellant or using some other method to rid yourself of that one insect.

Of course if you happen to have a serious insect infestation problem, such as rows of ants making their way across your floor or an abundance of another type of insect you cannot easily rid your home of, contact the nearest pest control company.
