"Indianapolis Colts" The Hearts behind the Horseshoe
"Giving Back" has always been an important part of the "Indianapolis Colts" whether they are winning or losing. Their goal is to "create lasting humanitarian partnerships and maximize those relationships for the betterment of their community, thus, building a legacy of goodwill as they share the heart behind the horseshoe.
Throughout the year, these Colts are dedicated to supporting numerous non-profit organizations. With a winning or losing season, they are always their offering monetary and in-kind donations to more than 2,000 organizations every year.
Winners take time to make a difference in the lives of others, and the "Indianapolis Colts" take that time to make difference in the lives of many Hoosiers across the State of Indiana.
The Indianapolis Colts will host several pre-game charity collections during the remainder of their regular season games to benefit non-profit organizations throughout Central Indiana.
Some of the Gameday Charity Collections for the remainder of the 2011 season include: Coats for Kids presented by the Colts and WTHR Channel 13 to donate coats to children in need; SACKing Hunger where each year the Colts and Meijer´s "sack" hunger in Indiana through a gameday collection at Lucas Oil Stadium; and a Toy Collection which is a program for needy families during the holiday season that is brought to you by the Indianapolis Colts, WISH TV and the Salvation Army.
