THE MILLIONAIRE KOCH BROTHERS: THEY ONCE AGAIN, "OPENED MOUTH-INSERTED FOOT"
...Charles & David Koch...doing all they can to make Obama a one term president.
During a private function being held at the elegant Ritz-Carlton Resort, in Vail, Colorado, oil billionaire Charles Koch [pronounced "Coke"] stood in front of a large group of conservative millionaires and said regarding President Obama, "We have Saddam Hussein" for the 2012 election. He went on to say, "In the words of Saddam Hussein", (yes, he actually quoted Saddam, the dictator) , "[in 2012] we will have the mother of all wars."
During his welcoming remarks, Mr. Koch warned his conservative guests that the 2012 elections are nothing short of a battle, "for the life or death of this country".
(Of course, they failed to say that they are the ones trying to cause the death of a nation.)
Charles and David Koch, the billionaire owners of their inherited petroleum Koch Industries, as of today, have poured more than $100 million into a number of conservative causes. Their money has also provided the financial underpinning to the Tea Party movement and other "astro-turf", or fake "grass roots groups" for opposing any and all oil industry pollution and/or corporate regulations.
After their bizarre introduction, Charles Koch then read aloud a list of 32 contributors who had each given "more than a million dollars to bankroll the network of corporate special-interest groups that aim to tear down President Obama".
The Koch's donor list included Amway co-founder Rich Devos and his wife Helen; Charles Schwab, founder of his namesake brokerage firm; John Childs, founder of J.W. Childs Assoc., a private equity firm; and such figures in the oil and natural gas industry as Corbin Robertson, Karen Wright and the Marshall family.
Other highly inappropriate attendees to past Koch´s get-togethers have been US Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas. As expected, this has raised the eyebrows and many questions from many of the delegates in Congress and of the US Justice Department, but it has yet to keep them from attending.
The Koch´s hold these secret conferences for rich donors twice-a-year without fail. The meetings are extremely confidential and are usually kept very private. And to protect the security of the group's discussions, the Koch´s sometimes employ the use of "Pink Noise" around the conference facility for keeping outside or long-distance listening devices from recording the meetings. They apparently however, did not expect the meetings to be recorded from the inside.
This latest session in Vail was accidently "outed" when the conservative Virginia GOP Governor Bob McDonnell, that regularly attends these every-six-month events, inadvertently put the event on his monthly schedule which was apparently available to outside observers.
Later on, the spokesperson for the Koch´s denied that Mr. Koch was referring to Obama with the "Saddam" comment. However, the comment had been secretly recorded and has been played multiple times via YouTube. By close listening, there is no doubt that Charles Koch was referring to President Obama as "Saddam Hussein".
In addition, the liberal magazine Mother Jones has somehow obtained a recording of the full proceedings.
Also prominent in attendance was the latest GOP candidate for the presidency, Texas Governor, Rick Perry; as well as the less than popular, Florida Governor, Rick Scott and along with the Republican Virginia Governor, Bob McDonnell. (Apparently, Gov. Perry was a big hit with the group.)
"We are absolutely going to do our utmost to invest this money wisely and get the best possible payoff for you in the future of our country," Charles Koch told the wealthy conservative million-dollar-donors. (By "payoff", Koch was referring to their support of putting another GOP puppet such as "Dubya" in the White House.)
He went on to say, "We´ve talked about our competitive disadvantage, how we are overwhelmed in a number of areas. One of those areas, of course, is the media, and we´re overwhelmed. The media is 90-plus percent against us." ("Media" not reffering to Rupert Murdoch's FOX Network.)
If this offends those of you now reading this, it absolutely should!
But it should also motivate you, because you and the rest of the American voting public are the only ones that can stop them.
Think about it!
