Is Republican [Stratigery] Working
Hillary Clinton knew she would have other Democratic challengers for the nomination. I doubt Hillary ever expected Barack Obama a relative new comer to national politics would explode into the positions he enjoys now. Is his popularity an alternative to Hillary Clinton or is he that charismatic a personality his popularity is of his own making? One thing we do know the Clinton political machine is doing everything they can to discredit Obama. All of these negative snippets the media reveals about Obama’s past are coming straight out of the Clinton war room.
The latest Clinton fabrication is Al Gore is about to get into the race for president it’s a Clinton plant don’t believe it. As dumb as Al Gore is he smart enough to know he doesn’t stand a chance of winning the Democratic nomination. This is a Clinton strategy to divide Obama’s support before the Super Tuesday primaries. The rest of the Democratic candidates are window dressing, they’re all vying for the second chair in the race. Vice President is a cushy job for a politician it doesn’t require any heavy lifting or serious thinking it’s as close to getting paid for a job you don’t have to show up at the office for any one could find.
As John Nance Garner of Texas once said “Being Vice President isn’t worth a bucket of warn spit.”
The Clinton machine is on a journey deliberately out to destroy the reputation of Barack Obama. So far all they’ve come up with are miniscule offences every politician’s campaign staff has committed. Usually unknown to the candidate until they read it in the newspaper or see it on CNN.
Dirty politics started with George Washington and John Adams, things really heated up when Thomas Jefferson ran for president. It’s been a continual sinking to the bottom of the barrel ever since. In an ideal world politicians would tell us what they would hope to accomplish with the blessings of their fellow politicians in congress. Quite honestly they don’t have the moral courage to be honest with the voters. Voters demand cake and are willing to settle for burnt toast as long as that’s the case the voters will get the shaft.
If voters really cared who they elected they would ask a few simple question of the candidates.
1] Didn’t you promise last time you ran for congress you were going to do XYZ.
2] Didn’t you vote against the legislation that would have corrected XYZ
3] Why did you accuse your opponent of XYZ when you knew it wasn’t true.
4] Do you promise to work for the publics best interests and not your parties best interests.
5] How many millions in ear-marks [Political Pork] have you voted for.
I seriously doubt anyone can get a straight answer to of the above questions from any of either political party’s candidates. Washington’s a land unto its self where normal behavior is abnormal, where truth is truly stranger than fiction. Those who enter the halls of government clean and moral are soon inaugurated into the practice of [sleaze, deception and CYA.] If a bureaucrat whishes to survive it’s necessary to sell your sole to the devil. No where is this more apparent than in the election process.
By allowing such behavior we condone it, by condoning it we get the government we deserve. Pardon me if I sound cynical, I am.
