Loving My New Look
Not only have I lost a ton of weight, but I also have really toned up my muscles and, probably more importantly, I've dramatically lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol. So what's my secret? It's simple. I have two major components to my new look plan: hard work and omega 3 fatty acids.
I knew last spring that something had to change. I have no major health problems, but when I went in for my annual physical that number on the scale was just too high to be acceptable. My doctor even told me that I was verging on obese! I had never thought of myself in those terms, and it really threw me for a loop.
So when I decided to make some changes, I decided to make them right. Not only did I implement a strict diet and exercise plan, but I also started taking an omega 3 fish oil supplements. Research shows that not only are omega 3 fatty acids good for your heart, your memory and your immune system, but they also bolster and boost dieting efforts.
As a result, you get more bang for the same amount of exercise "bucks" when you take a daily omega 3 fish oil supplement. And I'm confident that is one of the main reasons that my "total body makeover" was so successful and why I'm maintaining so easily now that I've reached my goals.
