Vancouver Canucks Ready To Take On San Joit
Led by a mighty Kesler, who came out of nowhere to carry the team, the Canucks are ready for the fight of their lives. However, if the team is going to make a dent on the more ferocious teams in the league (like the Bruins), they are going to need to have an appearance from the Sedin twins.
Where art thou, Henrik and Daniel? The Dynamic Duo has been playing like ghosts the entire playoffs. Itīs hard to see any of the heart that pushed them to back-to -scoring titles. Rumours have circulated that Daniel may in fact have a shoulder injury. But, still, there are many players who have endured more. A broken arm or two even spring to mind.
Tomorrow we will find out who will be the victor between San Jose and Detroit. Itīs been a scrappy contest, with either team posing a formidable threat to the Canucks.
Until then, Vancouver can only rest and get the same game face on that led them to lead the league. Chicago was a bit too close for most Canucks fans, as they dropped a 3-0 series lead and had the entire city breathless at the end of Game 7. Nashville should have been an easier victory as well. Vancouver can thank Kesler for showing up, at least. But credit to the him, he is playing like a superstar. Why are the rest of them?
