My Brothers Banned New Album, Meet Me in the Park

Kendra Rae Beltran
My Brothers Banned's "Meet Me in the Park" has an light indie sound with a mixture of 90's Alt and 70's singer/songwriter mixed in. From the catchy ways of "Reached Right Out" to the musicianship in "Keep Running" intro, My Brothers Banned has all their bases covered, ready to score. Their lead single and title track "Meet Me in the Park" just hit radio and is sure to take on the task of giving the record its overall alliterative feel and executes. Going back to my favorite decade, "She Said" is a journey to a time that is still fresh in minds, the 90's. A Gin Blossoms vibe will make this a favorite of 90's fanatics. "Meet Me in the Park" is nothing short of infectious. Fans of Soul Asylum and Discovery will be into what My Brothers Banned's Meet Me in the Park.

We´re all tiny books in one big compilation called life. Some of us will wait for what seems like forever for our climactic part to come. Others will have a romance novel their entire life. Or maybe one filled with just adventure. Or one that is a poetic tragedy. Then, there are those that will have best sellers. You know, the ones that everyone wants to read and base their versions on? Don´t forget the little paperbacks sold at the carwash that only a select few will ever lay eyes on. We´re all born with the power to either take what was written for us or choose our own adventures.-
