Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County stocks shelves with help of PODS®

PODS® Moving and Storage of San Luis Obispo has teamed up with the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County to help the nonprofit agency store donations during its Annual KCOY Spring Food Drive, March 14 - April 14, 2011.

The KCOY Spring Food Drive culminates with a one-day event from 5:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. on April 14 at Sierra Vista Medical Center, 101 Murray Ave., San Luis Obispo. Nonperishable food items and cash donations can be dropped off at the PODS® storage container placed onsite.

The Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County distributed 5.5 million pounds of food last year, feeding thousands of friends along the Central Coast.

PODS supports the local communities it serves by donating moving and storage services to nonprofit agencies. PODS previously helped with the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County´s November turkey drive which resulted in the collection of 725 turkeys, 1,400 pounds of stuffing, canned veggies and other non-perishables and $12,144 in donations.

Denise is responsible for developing branding and marketing strategies and maintaining client relations.

Jennifer Curtis, Senior Vice President / General Manager
Jennifer´s diverse background includes 16 years of experience in marketing management and graphic design with work in the video game industry and with Paramount Studios. Jennifer´s strength lies in her ability to create branding that translates seamlessly through a variety of media. Jennifer is analytical and multifaceted: able to write copy, direct production, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Tina Vervoorn, Public Relations Manager
Tina has more than 10 years of experience working as a journalist, editor, photographer and designer for a major newspaper.
