Indoor Treadmill Or Not, Your Choice

Judy Ramsook
It’s a hot summer day with temeratures in the nineties (Fahrenheit conversion) but you know that in order to continue that walk routine you started a while back, you must brave the elements, leave your air conditioned home and head out into the heat to participate in that walk. For should you procrastinate, you fear giving up on the entire exercise, period. Then one day while you are out shopping, you spot a tread mill, that you can purchase and use in the comforts of your own home.

No longer do you have to worry about walking outdoors on high temperature days, especially if an unexpected rain shower should catch you unprepared, with no umbrella in tow.

And in winter when you have to wear layers and layers of clothing to brave those elements to take that walk, you no longer have to, unless of course if you really want to. And you can also pace and time yourself when using the high tech treadmill you have just purchased.

You can, for instance, set a time limit for yourself almost as you would when you did the outdoor walking routine. And also a speed limit, anywhere from one mph on up, to suit your liking or pace. Almost like you would pace yourself when doing the walk you did outdoors. Tired of waiting your turn at the fitness club?

With the treadmill readily available at your home at your convenience, you no longer have to wait on anyone, or worry about coming into contact with some one else’s germs via his/her perspiration. And even though the cost of that treadmill might be a bit pricey, if you are self conscious about one of the above mentioned issues, this might be well worth your time and well spent money.

Of course if you prefer the fitness club for social reasons, that’s another matter, but think of all the cold, early morning walks that you did outside as opposed to the ones you can do in the warmth and comfort in your own home with the treadmill you have purchased. It seems it would be worth the purchase. Your choice.
