California Franchise Owner Named Executive Marketing Chairperson for PODS Enterprises, Inc.

Steve Yapp, owner of three California PODS® franchises in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo serves as chairman on national marketing committee for one of the largest moving and storage company´s in the U.S.

(VENTURA, Calif.) – Steve Yapp is not your ordinary businessperson. He has a penchant for marketing and branding and is passionate about PODS®, never missing a chance to state "PODS is the best moving and storage idea, ever!™"

Yapp opened his first PODS franchise in Ventura, Calif. in 2005, followed by PODS Santa Barbara and PODS San Luis Obispo. In each county, Yapp personally commits to helping local communities by donating time, resources, logistics and services of PODS® containers to countless nonprofit organizations.

Having served on the PODS Enterprises, Inc. sales and marketing committee for the past five years, Yapp was recently elected as chairperson of the committee.

The committee serves as the voice of more than 159 PODS franchises, working directly with corporate marketing and sales teams to ensure the right programs are created and implemented for growth.

Tina Vervoorn, Public Relations Manager
Tina has more than 10 years of experience working as a journalist, editor, photographer and designer for a major newspaper. At CMS, she maintains positive relationships with local and national media outlets and crafts enticing press releases and supporting documents to ensure optimal coverage in various media. Tina is responsible for all public relations efforts, original blog writing and publicity with the media.

Adrienne has more than 9 years of experience working the public relations and communications fields. Having previously handled communications strategies for a commercial real estate firm and economic development agency, Adrienne brings a strong business background to CMS. Adrienne assists with the CMS PR department with writing, client communication and public relations duties.
