Jerry Falwell Rewards Newt Gingrich For His Adultery

Jerry Falwell has the appearance of Jabba the Hut, the morals of Darth Vadar, and the ability to make you feel dirty just by watching his jowls move in condemnation of sinners.

Falwell is always railing against fornicators and homosexuals; he mercilessly condemned President Bill Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Hell, who wouldn't cheat if he were married to Hillary Clinton?

Newt Gingrich has been married three times, and a couple of days ago he admitted to having an affair while leading the drive to impeach Clinton and remove him from office.

Did Falwell condemn Gingrich for his hypocrisy and adultery? On the contrary, Falwell praised Gingrich for confessing his sin and rewarded him with an invitation to deliver the commencement address at Liberty University.

Boys and girls, what's the lesson that we can learn from the good Rev. Falwell? If you are a conservative Republican like Newt Gingrich you have a dispensation to commit adultery and engage in hypocrisy, but if you are a Democrat like Bill Clinton, you can shed a river of tears and you won't be forgiven.

So much for family values; it's obvious that what Falwell values in a politician is not moral integrity, but fidelity to conservative principles. Falwell considers being a good Republican more important than being a good Christian.

Newt Gingrich is an adulterer and a hypocrite and Falwell is an enabler of adulterers and a hypocrite. You won't find spiritual refuge in Falwell's church and you won't find moral integrity in the Republican party.
