America overexposed to biological toxins

Alan E. Moses
We Americans have grown accustomed to the way of life that we have today. We enjoy all of the things that modern life has to offer. We have abundant food supplies, and all of the other conveniences of life. We never realized the price we would pay

Unlike the world from centuries past we can understand the incidents of plague and disease as they were the major contributors to disability or death. We now live in a world where we are the major contributors to our own demise. We now experience many diseases and disorders that were either very rare or non-existent in the past.

The numbers of children that suffer with the modern day diseases and disorders is becoming higher as new data comes in. The parents seek answers to questions that never come. The government and there fore industry wishes not to reveal the answers. How can the government prosecute the tobacco industry and then allow it to function? If you smoke today you have been warned. Look at the warning on the package. This becomes your fault.

Not only do we have a problem with our next generation we see that older Americans also seem to have problems with the body turning on itself (Immunotoxicity), Could there be some correlation? We are led to believe that the causes are as of yet unknown. The only hope is to treat the symptoms with chemical compounds that can be addictive and expensive with side effects of their own.

To place blame on a gene is correct in most cases as this reflects and/or reveals that a gene is possibly mutated or damaged. What created this action may still be unknown or not even sought after.

It was over 50 years before the investigation into smoking and lung cancer was even realized. The problem today is that we again are wasting time over the obvious. The vaccine additive Thimerosal is not considered a contributor according to the CDC to the diseases or disorders we see today. When you add up all of the exposures that are neurotoxins and immunotoxins this can’t be helpful.

Diseases of the past showed that you had to come into contact with the agent that causes the disorder or disease. These were viruses, microorganisms and bacteria’s that could be traced. Today we look for the same markers but find none and so we attempt to seek answers that have nothing to do with the cause. A refusal to acknowledge that we may be at fault is never an option.

I decided to look further at the obvious. I went to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) website. What I found was both disturbing and full of the answers that I was looking for. The Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) was a good source of the data that I sought. Put all of the exposures into context and we see that we are creating the diseases and disorders of today.

Upon looking at these toxic releases there seems to be an obvious connection to the ills of today. I first chose to relate the small example on the total amount of toxins that industry is allowed to disperse into the land, water and air. I was shocked when I saw these amounts and hope you will be too. The latest data is as follows.

1. Alaska 547,987,529 Lbs/yr

5. Ohio 209,090,481 Lbs/yr

10. Georgia 126,580,488 Lbs/yr

30. Wisconsin 28,544,195 Lbs/yr

Then we look at Superfund sites. These are toxic waste sites.

1. New Jersey 116

2. California 98

5. Michigan 68

10. Ohio 35

30. Hawaii 3

Then I decided to look into the chemicals and compounds that headed the list as most released. Finding what is known was another shock as it falls into place.

1. Hydrochloric Acid 599,122,978 Lbs/yr

(immune toxicant) Causes auto immune disease.

2. Zinc compounds 484,974,173 Lbs/yr

(respiratory toxicant)

3. Arsenic (organic or non-organic) 401,207,702 Lbs/yr

(carcinogen, cardiovascular disease, developmental delay, gastrointestinal, liver

and neurotoxin)

4. Lead 388,912,425 Lbs/yr

(carcinogen, cardiovascular, developmental, gastrointestinal, immune toxicant, kidney

and neurotoxin)

5. Copper compounds 316,678,425 Lbs/yr

( kidney and respiratory)

6. Nitrate compounds 261,919,824 Lbs/yr

(cardiovascular)

7. Manganese compounds 209,578,545 Lbs/yr

(neurotoxin, reproductive and respiratory)

8. Barium compounds 174,064,093 Lbs/y

(skin or sensatory organs.)

9. Methanol 166,274,245 Lbs/yr

(neurotoxin, developmental, gastrointestinal, kidney and skin or sense organs)

10. Ammonia 151,805,024 Lbs/yr

(neurotoxin, gastrointestinal, reproductive, respiratory, skin or sense organ)

And to show that these are not isolated I have added three more from further down the list.

15. N-Hexane 44,805,346 Lbs/yr

(developmental delays, neurotoxin, respiratory, reproductive)

20. Carbon Disulfide 29,763,441 Lbs/yr

(developmental, reproductive, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, neurotoxin, respiratory and skin and sense organ)

59. Mercury compounds 5, 044,217 Lbs/yr

(neurotoxin, developmental, immune toxicant, cardiovascular, carcinogen)

I believe that you can see the contributors to today’s ills. Depending on where you live and what you may have come into contact with, how much and how many of these poisons that are legally released into water, air or land. This has not been just going on for a few years but in many cases over a 100. It is bound to catch up over time.

This of course does not include the many pesticides and insecticides that are used in growing our crops. We use many of these insecticides and pesticides in and around our own homes. Many of today’s cleaning products, preservatives, food colorings, artificial flavorings and scents that we all enjoy. The chemically engineered additives to meats and snack foods along with the diet sodas many of us enjoy.

Then you add vaccines that are given with all that they contain some including mercury (Thimerosal), aluminum and other products that are in fact toxic you begin to understand the causes of modern day diseases and disorders that have no apparent cause. It all falls into the contribution category as a little bit of everything is over exposing more and more children and adults alike. All contributing small but significant damage to our biological systems. Of course genetics plays a role as our genes mutate to handle this onslaught of toxic substances.

To add a toxic substance to a developing child is not only uncalled for it is a crisis that our government scientist justify with little understanding of the entire science involved. We have seen this with one agency alerting us about eating fish that may be contaminated while another claims that the amounts of a particular substance is safe to be injected into us. It appears as though one hand has no idea what the other is doing and so it continues.

May be it is time for the CDC, EPA and FDA to all compare notes so that they are all aware of what the other knows and then we can find ways to start eliminating contributors to our society becoming more and more ill.
