Judy Ramsook
Similarities:

June 1994- O.J. Simpson’s wife, Nicole and a friend, Ron Goldman are found dead at Nicole Simpson’s home in Brentwood, California.

Thirteen years later, Anna Nicole Smith dies in her hotel room in Florida.

Both women were in their thirties at time of death. Nicole Brown Simpson was thirty-five years old and Anna Nicole Smith was thirty-nine.

The O.J. Simpson trial was televised on cable news networks.

Anna Nicole Smith’s hearing to decide who will receive her remains is televised on cable news networks.

The O.J. Simpson case was a high profile, celebrity one.

The Anna Nicole Smith hearing was a high profile, celebrity one.

At the end of the O.J.Simpson trial, Mr. Simpson walks away a free man.

At the end of the Anna Nicole Smith hearing, Howard K. Stern walks away looking as if he has been awarded a victory as the Judge ruled Anna Nicole Smith is to be buried in the Bahamas.

Differences:

Foul play was suspected in the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

In the Anna Nicole Smith case, foul play was ruled out.

It was observed by many that O.J. Simpson’s attorney played the race card during that trial.

In the Anna Nicole Smith hearing, that was non existent.

But the late James Brown might not ‘feel’ too good about that as a similar case is taking place for his burial arrangements.

The Anna Nicole Smith hearing received much more airtime and attention than James Brown’s, even though he died on Christmas day and Anna Nicole Smith died two weeks ago on February 8th.
