The Truth and September 11th

Victoria Hardy
I imagine we all remember where we were the morning of September 11, 2001. I was at work when the first announcements of the destruction hit the airwaves, the company I worked for set up a television in the break room and the sight of the planes hitting the towers was far more vivid than the simple words on the radio. The United States changed irrevocably that day, our fear of other religions grew to epic proportions and patriotism found a home overnight. We were awakened to the love of our country and the fear of other nations. I lived with the sure knowledge that we were attacked and the war on terror was valid until this past summer, when a video found it’s way into my email box.

I hadn’t known so many people were questioning the events of that morning and as I watched the video I felt like I was waking from a very deep sleep, into a nightmare world of terrorist extremists led by our own government. I felt like the bombings were happening all over, but like Alice falling through the looking glass, everything was backwards and confused, in the bizarro world I now found myself in, up was down, good was bad and our faithful leaders were the terrorists. It’s no wonder so many people refuse to even consider the alternate theory of what occurred that morning, because to do so changes our entire world, our view of reality and the truths we hold most dear.

Some may consider the subjects I write about to be odd, but I try to keep my mind open to the possibilities, because I remember the day I learned that all things are possible and it still resonates with me. Most people don’t seek to have their perceptions changed and we carry the fear of life changing events. We work hard in America to keep our lives just so, we mostly stay in the boundaries and few venture beyond. But I think we must understand that our leaders have a different set of values than we do, the fear based mentality and the self-limiting judgments are for the worker class, the peasants and after rising to a certain level of attainment, those boundaries disappear. And what we see expressed as those walls are removed, reflects the state of that person’s being. Compare Oprah to Dick Cheney, Bill Gates to Donald Rumsfeld or Bono to President Bush, as just a few examples.

Growth is painful, but knowledge is powerful and we experienced the pain on September 11, 2001, but not the truth to help us find our way out of the darkness. For those of us with faith, we have been told that this world deceives and for those of us focused in logic, we also see the deceptions in society, so it is time to broaden our view.

If you are seeking to have the doors of your perception thrown open, there are thousands of websites and videos dedicated to this subject and it appears many are sensing the conspiracy may be truth. And once we begin questioning the official story of 911, it naturally follows that we begin questioning other stories, because when deception is seen in something this great, we know that it trickles down to other areas. If our leaders attempted to fool us on a level this vast, it means that they have been fooling us so long that they expected to get away with it. It also means we need to be aware, because where might they be leading us next?
