Meet Karen Sammy, a pre teen girl who is enjoying her life with her father, Rick Sammy, a famous Cricket player and her mother, Sheila. She, Karen also enjoys their home, a luxurious mansion nestled close to the beach off the coast of England. But one fine day, all of that changes when Karen encounters another person on the beach.

That person is Tide, a Princess from Xuslu, an undersea kingdom. Tide is in search of her abducted mother when she meets Karen on the beach. Tide’s mother’s abductor, who learns of Tide’s location above the sea sets out to also magically take Karen’s parents in an attempt to thwart Tide from teaching Karen magic.

But as their adventure intertwines, Tide eventually teaches Karen how to use magic and both girls set out to find Tide’s mother and Karen’s parents so order can be restored to their lives.
