Consumers Waste Money Using ‘Brand Name’ Phone Companies

DOYLESTOWN, Penn. – American consumers, driven by their addiction to brand name telephone services, waste billions of dollars each year simply because they just do not know what their alternatives are.

The truth is, almost every consumer out there could cut their monthly phone bills by a third, or even in half. Ten minutes is all it takes to save $10, $20, $30 or more each and every month. If I start handing out $10 bills to each consumer I meet, it wouldn’t take long for millions of people to ask for their 10 bucks. My web site tells them how they can get that amount, and more, each and every month,” explained Frank Stoczko telecommunications analyst.

The majority of consumers turn to the major companies, such as Verizon, SBC, AT&T, Bell South and others, because of brand name recognition, according to Stoczko. He says those companies are over charging consumers 50 percent or more to make in-state and out-of-state long distance calls.

People pay those higher rates month after month, effectively throwing money away. Money they could be using to pay down other debts, give to charity, or invest in their future,” said Stoczko.

I switched my own long distance service to an alternate provider and immediately saved about $20 a month. That’s $240 per year I can now use for other purposes. The quality of service is as good as it has ever been. The only difference is that I now pay significantly less,” he explained.

Stoczko offers free help to consumers at his web site www.LowerPhoneBills.net/charity.html.

He founded Team NCTY, Inc. (Telecom Expense Analysis and Management, No Cost To You) to help companies and organizations with communications expenses over $1,000 a month, but now offers help to the average consumer as well through the web site above.

Stoczko is not associated with any telecom vendors and does not try to sell clients new services. He is an independent consultant and provides more information on his web site.
