Condolences To Anna Nicole Smith's Family

Judy Ramsook
Death affects all of us sooner or later. Whether it takes the life of someone close to us or be it someone we know through a friend, co worker, or family member, at some point, somewhere deep inside us, we will miss the presence of that certain someone.

For no one is immortal. The best we can do is try and live a healthy life and exercise as much responsibility as possible so we can prolong our lives. Something that can be more difficult to achieve than one may think. For sometimes, living and surviving can be quite challenging. When I first learned of Anna Nicole Smith’s passing yesterday afternoon, I among others, I am sure, was in some shock.

But then I recalled it was not too long ago that she lost her then twenty year old son while in the Bahamas to death also. Time and time again, I have heard and read how difficult it can be for any parent to lose a child to death.

Some people go into a deep depression that no one or nothing can bring them out of, and as difficult as it can be, others try to move along with their lives the best they can. When the autopsy results are in, we will all learn what ultimately caused Anna Nicole Smith’s body to stop functioning. Was it a drug overdose? Some are already asking, or was it grief?

The kind of grief a mother is left to cope with after losing a child? The autopsy will no doubt give us a logical explanation for her death, but could it be this grief that would ultimately lead to Miss Smith’s sudden absence from this world?

All we can do is wonder at this point. And while that is taking place, I would like to express condolences to Anna Nicole Smith’s family. Whether she was a Marilyn Monroe lookalike, Guess Jeans Girl, Reality TV Star all rolled into one human being, someone has lost a dear life in Anna Nicole Smith.

And whether we are at the top of the pile in our lives or the lowest point, we will all suffer the same fate someday, for we are all human, just like Anna Nicole Smith was too.
