Al Gore Deserves An Oscar And The Nobel Peace Prize

Robert Paul Reyes
Al Gore won the 2000 presidential election by the vote of the American people, but lost is by a vote of the Supreme Court. After such a stunning turn of events, Gore could have sulked away into the sunset, never to be heard from again. Except by corporations willing to pay thousands to hear him deliver motivational messages.

Gore didn’t become a motivational speaker or a TV talking-head, instead he dedicated his life and reputation raising Americans’ consciousness about global warming.

Before Gore wholeheartedly embraced global warming as his cause, only Green Peace activists and other so-called “lunatic fringe” environmentalists were speaking out on the controversial subject.

Now everybody from hardcore environmentalists to soccer moms believe in global warming. In fact, the tables are now turned, if you don’t believe in global warming you are perceived as a Neanderthal.

If any fool denies global warming he will probably be chided with a remark like this: Buddy, you need to take that thermometer out of your nether regions and place it outdoors so you can see how hot it is this winter.

In the last eight years Al Gore has accomplished more than President George W. Bush. If only this giant of a man had not been robbed…

Al Gore is a true American hero; he has been nominated for an Oscar for his film about global warming and a couple of days ago he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his dedication in warning the world about this crucial issue.

Al Gore was robbed of the presidency, if there’s any justice in the universe, he will be win the Oscar and the Nobel Peace Prize. What the heck, give him a Grammy and the American Idol crown as well.
