America is being betrayed not only by its most respected institutions but by members of society who recognize and fail to say anything publicly about the President and members of the legislature who are failing us in every capacity. Elected officials may be good people who in error think they are doing what is best for America by violating their responsibilities. However, that is doubtful and is not the duty of elected representatives in a republic.
They are elected under solemn oath to uphold the United States constitution and its laws. There is no option to disobey those basic directions. It is their duty to stand by the country, not foreign powers, global elite or power brokers on K Street. For those who forget who the country is, it is we the people, those little people you ignore but those same little people who provide our consent for you to govern us. It is a mistake to violate that contract.
