Tri-Counties PODS honored by Ventura Chamber of Commerce as Mid-Sized Business of the Year
Each year, the Ventura Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding individuals and businesses that make a difference in our community. The local moving and storage leader will be honored at the Ventura Chamber´s Poinsettia Awards luncheon on Dec. 14.
Tri Counties PODS, located at 6050 King Road in Ventura, celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2010. Since opening his business, owner Steve Yapp has given back more than $120,000 to central coast charitable organizations and nonprofits. Using his own budget, trucks, fuel and employees, Yapp has donated to dozens of Ventura County charities including the American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Clubs, Casa Pacifica, FOOD Share, My Stuff Bags, the Turning Point Foundation and many more.
