Tri-Counties PODS honored by Ventura Chamber of Commerce as Mid-Sized Business of the Year

(Ventura County, Calif.) – Tri-Counties PODS Moving and Storage was named Mid-Sized Business of the Year by the Ventura Chamber of Commerce.
Each year, the Ventura Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding individuals and businesses that make a difference in our community. The local moving and storage leader will be honored at the Ventura Chamber´s Poinsettia Awards luncheon on Dec. 14.
Tri Counties PODS, located at 6050 King Road in Ventura, celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2010. Since opening his business, owner Steve Yapp has given back more than $120,000 to central coast charitable organizations and nonprofits. Using his own budget, trucks, fuel and employees, Yapp has donated to dozens of Ventura County charities including the American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Clubs, Casa Pacifica, FOOD Share, My Stuff Bags, the Turning Point Foundation and many more.

Founded in 1998, PODS provides moving and storage services in 48 U.S. states, Canada and Australia. To date, the company has completed more than 200,000 long-distance moves, exceeded one million deliveries and has over 138,000 PODS containers in service.
