AMERICA NOW A NAZI STATE

Tony R. Elliott
The government intrusion of privacy and civil liberties in the name of fighting terrorism is rapidly reaching a point of becoming Marxist in every sense of the word. John Tyner a passenger flying out of San Diego International airport recently refused both a full body scan and the pat down now required to board a passenger plane.  Tyner refused both a body scan and the alternative pat down, recording it all with his cellphone and then posting the incident online. (http://johnnyedge.blogspot.com/2010/11/these-events-took-place-roughly-between.html). In it, he tells a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent about to conduct a pat down: "If you touch my junk, I'm gonna have you arrested." Tyner has become an internet celebrity adding to a growing dissent by the public in general of the Nazi like tactics being used on all people flying commercial airliners since the package bomb scare a few weeks ago.

Its taken 10 years since 9-11 and all the resulting so-called security measures imposed on all of us since then to finally wake people up to the fact that security is one thing but all out Marxism tactics and laws invading privacy and civil liberties is another.

The government's excuse is the latest security measures are necessary since the latest bomb scare. The truth is all this invasion of privacy and scrutiny of average citizens isn't necessary. The reason being is increased security measures after a terrorist event is only being stupid on the part of the U.S. government because (omit) if a future terrorist event involved an explosive device hidden in the rectum of a suicide bomber on board a commercial plane the U.S. government would immediately require rectal inspections of all passengers flying airliners.

The point being there has to be a line drawn somewhere that distinguishes sanity from hysteria and Marxism from that of a free society. Thus far the U.S. government has gone overboard with invasion of privacy, civil liberties, identification requirements and a host of other surveillance tactics used on average citizens it has no business conducting.

Since 9-11 we have had the appearance of a Nazi type government scrutinizing its citizens at every turn reminiscent of the Gestapo in Nazi Germany.

Now we accept as normal a government tapping our telephone conversations, going over our banking and financial records, requiring absolute identification of all seeking employment, keeping tabs on where we visit when we use the internet and all e-mail correspondence, putting some on a list of suspected terrorists if their lifestyle doesn't fit the criteria considered normal and all those who may have an opinion differing from that the government does not consider as normal and what kind of manure or potting soil we may buy. The list of civil liberty violations goes on but the bottom line is in the name of fighting terrorism we have allowed the U.S. government to remove our personal and civil freedoms to the point of transforming the U.S. into a dark, distrusting and scared society.

If someone from the 1950s were taken to present day America in a time machine the person would be astounded at what the country has become and more than likely compare it to the old Soviet Union of their time.

We as Americans simply can not stand idly by and permit the idealism of freedom disappear in the name of anything.

What the present situation really means for us is that the terrorists and their idealism have already won. Now they can sit back and enjoy themselves knowing that their terrorist acts have transformed America into a Marxist country which resembles nothing from what it was just 10 years ago.

We as freedom loving citizens of the U.S. must take a stand and refuse to accept the current void of freedom and civil liberties imposed upon us by a government who is using scare tactics as an excuse to control and manipulate us at will. If the line isn't drawn now we are rapidly sinking into a society where Fascism would be a welcome change.

It is time to demand that troops be brought home from Afghanistan as no political solution can be reached there because most citizens and factions have one thing in common and that is their hatred of America.

Bush's personal war which had nothing to do with fighting terrorism in Iraq also must be brought to a close for the same reasons as Afghanistan.

If the insanity is not stopped now we should all resign ourselves to becoming a nude society where absolutely nothing isn't seen by a government entity or just move to Cuba.
