Propaganda-Politicians Use Our Money to Pay for Lying to Us

George Orwell's book "1984." slogans engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."
America has since the Second World War attempted to sway public opinion of foreign nations in an effort to combat cold war propaganda distributed by world communist regimes. The objective was to win minds and hearts of the world for democracy, freedom, free market economies and defeat evil communism and authoritarian governments.
Propaganda legislation goals included its use as a powerful force and positive influence on American diplomatic activity around the world for years. We like to think propaganda is truth but by definition it involves lies, deceit, half truths, misinformation and exaggeration to control thoughts, beliefs and attitudes of others to influence world opinion.
Nazi Germany under Hitler was exposed to multiple levels of propaganda from educational systems to the press that effectively convinced the public their cause was just when they exterminated Jews and others they deemed inferior. The people were indoctrinated with a nationalistic fervor and loyalty to the motherland and Hitler that mandated blind obedience to authoritarian rule. Hitler thought he ruled by divine authority and so did Germany. "And so I believe to-day that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator. A free society must have valid and accurate information to be able to self-govern. Lack of: open and honest information concerning democratic government, conflicts with the concept of representative government of, by and for the people. “Only a free and unrestrained press can effectively expose deception in government. And paramount among responsibilities of a free press is duty to prevent any part of government from deceiving the people”: Black, Hugo L.
Given these conditions, the United States government created federal law to prohibit use of propaganda on Americans in the US Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (Public Law 402), (Smith Mundt Act of 1948) and as later amended by subsequent legislation. University Southern California: Smith Mundt Act Amendment Instituted in 1985, USC 1461-1a was sponsored by Senator Edward Zorinsky and says in part…”no funds authorized to be appropriated to the United States Information Agency shall be used to influence public opinion in the United States, and no program material prepared by the United States Information Agency shall be distributed within the United States.”
Senator Zorinsky explained: "The American taxpayer certainly does not need or want his tax dollars used to support U.S. government propaganda directed at him or her. My amendment ensures that this will not occur."
Propaganda has entered the world of the Internet and new technology used by commercial news outlets. Data is transmitted instantly to and from our homes and the world. Americans now easily access United States propaganda used by the Pentagon, State Department and other government and non governmental organizations to influence foreign audiences.
We the people are subjected to military and political propaganda without our knowledge or consent. That propaganda is paid for with our taxes and put out by our government to advance causes promoted by elected officials without defining facts related to motivation for action taken or which lobbyists if any are involved.
Documents released by the Pentagon January 26 2007 to the National Security Archive, (an independent non-governmental research institute and library located at The George Washington University,) under a Freedom of Information Act request, present current United States positions on Pentagon propaganda and its use on American as opposed to foreign audiences.
The National Security Archive reports: “The previously secret pentagon document, signed by Mr. Donald Rumsfeld in 2003 says: The roadmap “calls for ‘boundaries’ between information operations abroad and the news media at home, but provides for no such limits and claims as long as the American public is not "targeted," any leakage of PSYOP to the American public does not matter. The 74-page "Information Operations Roadmap" admits ‘information intended for foreign audiences, including public diplomacy and PSYOP (Psychological Operations), increasingly is consumed by our domestic audience and vice-versa,’ but argues that ‘the distinction between foreign and domestic audiences becomes more a question of USG [U.S. government] intent rather than information dissemination practices.’”
The government admits propaganda designed for foreign audiences is received by American audiences and there is no way to stop it nor should there be, because law prohibiting propaganda dissemination to Americans is based on intent rather than actual dissemination. They indicate since there is no specific intent to use propaganda on Americans its appropriate to expose us to government lies.
Reportedly the United States is in a position where it can not release false information anywhere in the world without it being presented to American citizens in violation of intent and letter of the Smith Mundt Act as amended. (A little Catch 22 for those who know the movie. You have to be crazy to get released from flight duty but only a sane person would recognize their insanity so there can be no release from flight duty. We are screwed whatever we do!)
The government created policy emphasizes more propaganda distribution on the Internet and through the electronic media under guise of political diplomacy and military uses. Wars are used to stifle free speech by saying failure to support unconstitutional acts will hurt troops in the field. Government maintains positions referred to as “stealth” diplomacy where actions are kept secret from not only foreign audiences but domestic audiences as well. “Military secrets” and release of information on a need to know basis, help maintain the cloud of secrecy for propaganda purposes.
Non governmental organizations, like the Federal Reserve, Project New American Century, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and numerous subsidiary organizations are busy publishing propaganda supporting one world government by corporate elite. Elected officials can lie about their releases and say that is conspiracy stuff. This is a no win situation for American Citizens.
Propaganda we get is not much different from that used by Hitler in Germany before World War Two. We are told wars are needed to spread democracy, peace and prosperity, when the objective is to spread economic colonialism by treaty if possible and militarily if necessary. These revelations come on the heels of Attorney General Gonzales statements that the constitution does not provide for habeas corpus, or due process for Americans or anyone else.
Educational systems, press, and governments from local to federal help spread propaganda promoting international illegal alien invasion, treaties, eugenics, no borders, massive migration of worker populations, destabilization of nation states and one world corporate elite government.
One-world government propaganda is used in educational programs in foreign countries promoting international corporate expansion via economic treaties that ultimately lead to political control. Political goals for freedom become confused with and subjugated to economic goals designed to create more power and profit for international corporations.
American government at the federal, state and local governments spend billions on propaganda promoting these agendas and defining advocacy positions of specific administrations. Individual states and local governments spend taxpayer money competing with each other over international trade agreements, a constitutional federal responsibility. The federal government wastes billions on advocacy group funding to promote chosen public policy and provide excuses for doing why they must do what they are doing.
The past four presidential administrations promoted similar globalist political agendas with their specific propaganda. We citizens are left with little accurate information to make objective decisions regarding our future because government decisions are made in secrete without public scrutiny or review. Little bits and pieces of information we get through Freedom of Information Act requests are belittled by politicians as rumor and conspiracy theory.
There is no conspiracy; it is a factual policy of stealth and propaganda that defines unconstitutional government actions taken without public review or participation.
Our right to know, (about issues such as: Illegal Alien Invasion, global warming, gasoline prices, corporate welfare, cause for preemptive warfare, the North American Union, Security, Prosperity and Partnership North American Agreement, or Social Security Totalization Agreements) is compromised to permit unconstitutional government business without consent of the governed.
Freedom is not free. We must stop unlawful implementation of proposed international treaties that subjugate American citizens to rule of international corporations without constitutional amendments. They must have citizen approval to change our form of governance and follow procedure outline in the constitution. “The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government. These issues must be openly debated and not permitted to be implemented by an authoritarian executive branch without legislative oversight and review. Senator Edward Zorinsky was correct in assuming the American public did not want their tax dollars spent on propaganda designed to influence them with lies.
Freedom is not a product of economics; it is a product of free nation states self-governed by free citizens with common bonds that consent to be governed. Free markets are a product of democracy not the other way around, regardless of the propaganda. International corporate elite are like their corporate entities without souls and have no political agenda that accommodates free societies. Their only objective is world domination for power and control of the world’s wealth.
We must permanently destroy our government propaganda machine, government by stealth and secrecy and mandate transparency in all it does. There is no room for stealth policy making by the elite in a democratic society.
