PODS Lexington and radio station Z Rock 103 sponsor "Homeless for the Holidays" charitable event
As a part of the radio station´s 7th annual Homeless for the Holiday event, a PODS container will be placed in the parking lot of Lucky Autosports, 229 West New Circle Road in Lexington, and radio listeners will be encouraged to stop by and donate money, clothing, toys and food for people in need.
Donations collected during the event, which runs from Nov. 15 -19, will be distributed to area non-profit organizations including Fraternal Order of Firefighters, God´s Pantry food bank and The Hope Center of Lexington.
David and Ken Kocon, brothers and co-owners of PODS Lexington, are frequent supporters of Blue-Grass area nonprofit charities and community efforts.
