Got Strange Clouds?

I am more of a backwoods philosopher, than I am scientist, I enjoy attempting to unravel spiritual mysteries, rather than solving crimes, but now I have been handed a multi-layered doozy…chemtrails. I wrote an article last week and although it has not been the most read article I have written, I have received the most mail concerning suspicious contrails. As a brief review, chemtrails are the lines, stripes, grids, X’s and O’s we are seeing in the skies over our heads these days, this writing spreads out and creates an artificial cloud cover. Skeptics claim that the lines we see are simply contrails, water condensation caused when heat meets cold. Googling “chemtrails” will result in about 745,000 hits, and most theories range from military applications, earthly depopulation, mind control technologies and weather manipulation.

Many believe HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) located in Alaska, is at the heart of the chemtrail mystery. On their website HAARP states it is “a scientific endeavor aimed at studying the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes” (
