Cinerio Entertainment Introduces Childrens Stories
The Fossil Creature Mystery

Audio Book, Cinerio Entertainment
It is indeed a sad reality that in today’s fast paced world, there are many children who simply don’t read for pleasure. They read what they have to read in order to get by in school and then head straight for the Game Boy, Play Station, television or computer games.
It is unfortunate, as statistics show that children who read not only when they have to read, but also when they want to, have improved literacy, comprehension, fluency and grammar skills over those who don’t tend to read a lot. Who wouldn’t want their children to have this advantage? Reading easily becomes a skill that will enhance and open their minds not only through their school years, but through their entire lives in general. If you don’t already read with or out loud to your children, and you just don’t know where to start, Cinerio Entertainment just may have the solution for you.
Cinerio Entertainment has recently released a 39 volume series of audio books which are not only entertaining to children of all ages, but educational as well. The stories, written by George W. Laidlaw are excellently narrated, complete with expression and sound effects. For parents who simply lack the time to or don’t know how to go about reading out loud with their children, Cinerio Entertainment provides an awesome introduction.
Listening to stories differs from watching movies on levels too many to mention, but I’ll start with a few key points. Listening or reading requires us to think about the story as each page is turned. The story stays with us long after its done. Even as adults, when we read a book, and not long afterwards the movie based on the book comes out, we race to the theatre to see it. More often than not, we end up disappointed with the results. Why? We’ve already formed in our minds, what the characters and settings look like, and the movie makers just didn’t get it. Without even realizing it, we’ve used our imaginations and created a visual of the story as we’ve read along. If we hadn’t read that book, those skills would never have been tapped into.
So the next question is, if we don’t have the time or energy to read with the children, when will listening to the audio version fit in? I have a suggestion, how about in the car? Going for groceries anytime soon? Rather than listening to music, pop in the audio cd. Believe me, the children will soon be asking to hear more. We all know that one thing leads to another, and before long, family trips to the library will become routine as they seek more ways to feed the ever-growing imaginative hunger.
The Fossil Creature Mystery, Volume 1 of Cinerio Entertainment’s recently released audio books, is an exciting story which will keep the listener captivated from beginning to end. The author shows that not only is he keenly interested in biology, but embraces it, has wrapped a suspenseful tale of mystery, around factual information which skillfully enhances the learning experience. These audio books will be a welcome addition to any classroom, home and library.
