Gently Kick the Democrats Back To Work! Republicans Are Not Ready Yet!
Al Gore, the Sierra Club, the World Wildlife Foundation, GreenPeace and all of the non-profit environment organizations who mobilized to help the Democrats during the last election, are now wondering if they did the right thing? They are wondering because they have been left out of the election race! Ignoring the fact it was the worst Oil spill in U.S. history, the federal government placed a moratorium on our Environment movement and removed the moratorium on drilling for Oil in the Gulf of Mexico!
Well guess what? That was the stupidest move one quasi-Democrat ever pulled! It exposes a government priority placed on Oil and not on the environment. A priority where political power and the economy dominate the enironment. For all of you religious republicans out there, how do you believe God will react to the wholesale destruction of his environment? How do you believe He enjoys watching his Ducks being smothered to death in a Alberta tailings pond created by the Tar Sands Oil industry. Oil created for the sake of U.S. consumption? The same kind of Tailings 'Pond' (a misnomer if I ever heard of one) that recently breached its mud wall and killed people in Europe. People drowned by a poisonous Red Death of toxic pollution contained within something the the size of a lake, and not the size of a pond!
We have no choice but to elect Democrats. We have no other choice! We must vote the Democrats back into power because the present crop of government Republicans have not yet learned what is right from wrong? Hopefully, the next crop will have better priorities and will not have sold out to multi-national corporations. The Democrats did make some promises to the environment movement. Promises we will force them to keep! I suggest you put them back in power and then kick their Butts back to work keeping their promises. We kick them back on track so fast they will finish the job they started and with so many watch Dogs smelling their heels, they won't dare move in the wrong direction.
The people of the United States were not alone when they placed Barack Obama and his Democrats into power. U.S citizens had the emotional encouragement and free publicity from people around the world, myself included, who today continue to hope for World Peace and who are keeping fingers crossed in the desperate hope of finally receiving honest pro environment policies. We are all waiting to see the results of this election.
Not just Americans, but Millions of people around the world hoped for change during the last election! We hoped that Barack Obama would be the savior needed to stop the slaugther and the pollution...but the system was rigged. The Imperial Economy is dominated by special interests with private Banks leading the way! That must change. The U.S. government needs to own a Bank. A true Federal government Bank that is operated and regulated. A government regulated Bank that will lend money to poor people at low interest and will also act as a social service to make sure those same poor have the "Green" employment they need to pay back the loans.
Dear Joseph,

Joseph --
Moments ago, I was briefed by our DCCC strategists on our final Election Day projections.
Your investments are paying off: we are seeing Democrats surging in key races and great early vote numbers. Several new key opportunities have opened up, but there are many races that are still too close to call.
We must stand united in these final critical hours if we don't want to see what we have worked so hard for come undone. It will all come down to voter turnout.
Quite simply, we will win as many races as we can afford to send get-out-the-vote resources to this final make-or-break weekend. We must have $100,000 more in the bank by 5pm today to wire the funds in time. Time is running out; I need your support now more than ever.
Please contribute $5, $10 or more today to support voter contact activity that will be the difference between victory and defeat for Democrats in too-close-to-call races.
Years from now, what will you tell your children about this historic election?
Will you say that you sat on the sidelines in the final days and watched the special interests with their secret money hostilely take over our democracy? Or will you tell them that you were part of the team that proved the pundits wrong and won another grassroots victory for Democrats on behalf of America's middle class?
That story will be written in this weekend.
Please help us raise $100,000 more by 5pm today so we can wire resources to our campaigns for this final, make or break weekend.
Onward to victory.

Speaker of the House
Joseph:
Here are two thought experiments. Indulge me, wonīt you?
Itīs the morning after Election Day. 8 a.m. You stumble out of bed. Make some oatmeal. Turn on the TV to find out what happened in that Senate race, the one that was too close to call all night. But you gave $5 to the DSCC by clicking on this link. And, lo and behold, your favorite Democrat — maybe Russ Feingold or Patty Murray — pulled it out by a few votes. Oatmeal never tasted so sweet.
But thereīs another way it could go. 8 a.m. Oatmeal. TV. But in this example, you DIDNīT give to the DSCC. And, by a few hundred votes, some Tea Party extremist is now a U.S. Senator-elect — and Republicans have captured the majority. Howīs that oatmeal taste now?
You still have time to decide which scenario will become reality. But when I say "time," I donīt mean days. I mean minutes. Donīt wait for tomorrow. Donīt even wait to read the rest of this email. Click here right now and make a contribution of $5 or more — it will be matched two to one, tripling its impact!
Youīve seen the polls — weīre neck and neck in race after race. Moving the numbers just a little bit could mean the difference between victory and defeat — trust me, Iīve been there.
And nobody moves numbers like the DSCC. Thanks to people like you clicking on links like this one, weīve pulled ahead in California and Connecticut and tied it up in Colorado and Pennsylvania.
But with just hours to go until the polls close, every minute counts. Your contribution wonīt be funding some far-off future plan — itīll be the money that goes out the door first thing tomorrow. It could be your $5 that makes the difference for Barbara Boxer, keeps Sharron Angle or Rand Paul out of the Senate, or even saves our majority.
So make a contribution of $5 or more to the DSCC right now — itīll be on the air in a battleground state or in the field as part of a get-out-the-vote program by tomorrow morning. And, even better, it will be matched two-to-one, tripling its impact.
If you want to know why Iīm standing with the DSCC in the final days of this election, hereīs why: On November 3, I donīt want my oatmeal to taste like regret. I want my oatmeal to taste like victory.
How about you?
Thanks,
Al Franken
