Gentle readers of this American Chronicle, if Democrats lose seats in the Senate, it will be because the Supreme Court was stuffed with Republicans who voted to allow multi-national companies the right as legal persons, to spend millions helping Republican Senators block Barack Obama's agenda of positive change. The truth is, the Supreme Court made a 2010 ruling based on an 1886 headnote that was not legal. In fact, companies are not "persons" and the CEO's of companies should not be allowed to spend millions influencing todays elections...>

I'm going to say this as simply as I can: I will not stop fighting for progressives until we win.
Talking heads in the media -- and on Fox News in particular -- have already written the story they want to tell about this election. They want to say that Democrats are doomed because it makes for good TV and, in Fox's case, helps push their right-wing agenda.
But they're wrong -- We're going to win this election. And we're going to win, Joseph, because we have you. People power is the only thing that can beat the big corporate money backing Republicans because nothing is more effective than committed volunteers talking to voters one on one at their doors or on the phone.
At Democracy for America, we're running our biggest Get-Out-The-Vote program ever, making over 500,000 calls to voters in swing states and districts where progressives can win and turning out more than 250,000 volunteer hours.
