Joe Wilson Receives "D" Rating From Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans

BEAUFORT, SC – Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America has given Congressman Joe Wilson a "D" rating because of his lack of support for veterans. The veterans´ organization places Wilson on its "D List," because Wilson is among the members of Congress who "must improve their voting records if they are to legitimately claim that they support new veterans."

Wilson´s rating is available here.

Wilson has neglected America´s veterans, and he continuously votes against the interest of veterans.

"Joe Wilson has raised his own pay five times, yet he wouldn´t support a combat bonus for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan," said Marine Corps combat veteran Rob Miller, who is a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District. "Joe Wilson has continuously voted against our troops and veterans. It´s our moral imperative to ensure that the men and women who serve America have the tools they need to complete their jobs. I twice led combat troops in Iraq, and I will fight every day to ensure that our veterans receive the care and support they deserve."
