Gentle readers of this American Chronicle, you get what you work for and that fact goes double in politics. The more you work to elect Democrat Senators, the more they will work for you in Washington. I'm talking about you and not people like House Builder Bob Perry who gave Seven Million Dollars to Carl Rove in order to create a few last minute Swift-Boat style Television broadcast attack adds against Democrats. For those of you who may have forgotten what Swift-Boat advertising is all about, they are honest sounding lies created and televised so close to an election, that opponents have no time to debate and refute the claims. The wrong person is elected into political office while honest politicians are destroyed by lies!
The first Swift-Boat attack was directed at John Kerry during his race with G.W. Bush and the lie was so effective, it destroyed Kerry's political chances to become President.
Guess who paid for that advertising? It was the same person who today is again paying to destroy Democrats in the Senate. That man was Bob Perry and this time around Perry gave Karl Rove a check for Seven Million Dollars for the purpose of destroying Democrats, only this time around, the Democrats are prepared for the attacks!

I just got some great news from our Field Department.
In the 18 days since we started our Call Out The Vote program with our friends at the PCCC, we've made 259,068 voter contact calls for some of the most competitive races nationwide. We've called for candidates like Ohio's Mary Jo Kilroy, New Hampshire's Annie Kuster, and Arizona's Raul Grijalva. In fact, we've made over 67,000 calls for Progressive Hero Alan Grayson just this week.
We´re making a huge difference in these races. With just 12 days left to win, we need all hands on deck to double our impact.
This Sunday, Oct. 24th, we'll be focusing our calls on Wisconsin in support of Senator Russ Feingold. Senator Feingold is neck-and-neck with Tea Party Republican Ron Johnson. Recent polls show Feingold surging at exactly the right time -- now it´s up to us to push him over the top!
Keep a Progressive Hero in office! Will you sign up right now to make calls for Senator Feingold this Sunday?
