True Islamic Theology for "Repentant" Moro Terrorists

THE GOVERNMENT of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP), through the Department of Education (DepEd), must be sensitive enough to feel the "sincerity of repentance" of surrendering Moro terrorists who "agreed" to change for the better.

DepEd must therefore work for the free tuition of these homecomers, who need to return to Islamic school for special instructions on AUTHENTIC ISLAMIC FAITH AND VALUES ORIENTATION.

The "sincerity" of surrendering terror bandits MANIFESTED with the submission of some of their (mostly least essential) guns and ammunitions, along with their "pledge" to work hand-in-hand with GRP military and police offices throughout the country.

Despite the persistent stronghold of radical imams and muftis who continue to preach Pseudo-Jihadism and Rebellion, there is still hope for a socio-religious reformation among these homecomers---if only GRP will take extra steps in seeing them through.

The Philippine government is essentially vested with the duty to order them to register their names, to get their religious education in exchange for their pledge to help the country in the quest for peace and order.

Aside from sponsored education, the Philippine government must also provide the repentant terrorists with the following, to wit:

1. Crash Courses on the subject of "Ecological and Environmental Protection", for them to be capable of nurturing their amnesty-given lands.

In such manner, they shall have in mind the knowledge that the presence of terror training activities in said land poses as cumbersome hindrance to the subsistence of a wholesome ecosystem.

2. Educational scholarship for their siblings, with the strict integration of Islamic Values Orientation, for the rearing up of well-bred individuals.

3. The holding of regular bi-annual parties for GRP representatives to meet with prospective "repentant" terrorists for the same purpose of pre-orientation.

GIVEN THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT

The terror bandits admitted that they "really want to change" and yearned to be given more productive things to do. Some wish to have jobs or livelihood, while others would want to return to school.

The Military and Police authorities, and officers of the Philippine Amnesty Commission personally inspected the surrendered weapons like M16 guns and rifles and other petty armalite machine guns.

(NOTA BENE: In full essence of the terrorists' sincerity for reform, however, GRP authorities should expect to see major terror war facility like anti-tank and anti-personnel landmines, anti-tank rockets, boxes of blasting caps and detonating cords, M16 rifle sets, ammunition bandoleers, armalite machine guns and other firearms, electrical tools, computers and, most especially, terror subversive documents.)

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, in many of her key messages, encouraged the Moro rebel group members to join the various developmental projects of the Philippine government, with the pledge that many benefits will be in the offing for the deserving ones.

Philippine Moro rebel organization members, who sought feelers for their surrender, include the ones from MNLF, MILF, ASG, MELF, Rajah Sulaiman Group, Urban Terrorist Groups, Independent AQ Group, Independent JI Group, and Warlord/Warrior Clans.

President Arroyo also requested the Moro terror group members to refrain from keeping in contact with international terrorists organizations such as Al Qaeda, Jemaah Islamiyah, Abu Fatima, Abu Nidal Organization, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Ansar al-Islam, Armed Islamic Group, Asbat Al-Ansar Aum Supreme Truth, Aum Shinrikyo, Aleph Basque Fatherland and Liberty, Al-Gama’a Al-Islamiyya Islamic Group, HAMAS Islamic Resistance Movement, Harakat Ul Mujahidin, Hizballah Party of God, Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Al-Jihad Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Kahane Chai, Kongra-Gel, Kurdistan Workers’ Party, PKK, KADEK, Lashkar-e-Tayyiba, Lashkar I Jhangvi, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, Mujahedin-e- Khalq Organization, National Liberation Army, Palestine Islamic Jihad, Palestine Liberation Front, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine–General Command, Real IRA, Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, Revolutionary Nuclei, Revolutionary Organization-17 November, Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front, 135 Salafist Group for Call and Combat, Sendero Luminoso Shining Path, United Self-Defense Forces/Group of Colombia, and the Communist Party of Philippines/New People’s Army (CPP/NPA).
